Someone decided to convert a historic Boston prison into a luxury hotel...and they nailed it. Amazing...even if you don't stay there, you should drop by for a drink in the lobby. Its worth seeing firsthand. Draws a bustling evening crowd.

    Hilton Boston Logan Airport

    Hotel Class:

Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

This isn't the greatest airport but it serves its purpose. I've always felt like the crowds here are a little more hectic than most airports (though not as bad as Chicago's O'Hare). If you're trying to get to downtown Boston once you land, the shuttle bus to the T is quick and painless. And, of course, I always make sure ...

    Hotel Class:

Mediocre - 69% of guests recommend

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Park Plaza. The rooms smelled a little, since they are older, but the concierge is very helpful and the location is perfect: you are right by the Boston Common and a T-stop for the metro. There are also several restaurants nearby. Great for those looking to sightsee.

Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

The Lenox is the place to be if you want to ball it and visit Boston. It is not luxuriously modern, it is not chic nor boutique, and it isn't my style, but it's definitely up there in class, swagger, and that historic meets modern attitude I LOVE about Boston everywhere I go. The Lenox I believe is the #1 ...

    W Boston

    Hotel Class:

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

The W is one of Boston’s newest hotels, and it certainly feels like it. The all-glass building has the feeling of a cruise ship on the inside, mostly because the décor is heavy on blue. The hotel’s staff is both friendly and keen on the details – the elevators, for examples, have mats that are changed thrice daily to say ...

The first time I went to Boston was for a weekend to celebrate my birthday in 2011. We decided to splurge on a hotel experience. There are a lot of people out there that can't comprehend spending $400/night on a hotel, but when the hotel is the XV Beacon in Boston, it's worth every penny. I happened to make a ...

Excellent! - 94% of guests recommend

The harbor view rooms are very nice and allow you to take in the entire waterfront, not just the canal. The architecture of the hotel itself is worth at least a few pictures, both outside and in. Everything feels wonderfully stately and old-fashioned, from the wooden dressers to the paintings on the walls. There’s a floating stage that has live ...

The Copley Square Hotel has some serious bang for your buck. The hotel offers complimentary wifi and has an exercise center on site (though it's on the smaller side). The Ames is somewhat of an avant-garde hotel with artwork adorning the walls and a hip bar downstairs serving drinks to a fun crowd regularly. I personally really loved the restaurant, and I ordered the lobster ravioli special, definitely a great blend of Boston's seafood roots and the Italian influence in the city. The service was also impeccable. The only ...

The setup of this hotel is a little unique, as each of its three buildings are connected by criss-crossing walkways. This might be a little confusing at first but there are plenty of signs. It’s not a huge skyscraper but it certainly doesn’t feel outdated. In fact, there are attempts to be state-of-the-art (the minibar is motion-activated: really cool) but ...

This building is massive and a big hotspot for conventions, and if there’s some major event happening here or in the nearby convention center, it’s probably your best bet. Obviously there’s lots of historical background to this place (it’s celebrating its 100th anniversary in August), and if you value that you won’t be disappointed. There’s a host of sensational architecture and showy features, including, of course, Catie Copley the hotel dog (who seemed bored stiff when I was there). The fitness center has a decent amount of workout machines ...

The old adage “never judge a book by its cover” applies to the Seaport Hotel. The hotel sits in a pretty non-descript building; I actually almost walked right by it thinking it was just an office building. There’s no mistaking it for an office building once you get inside. The lobby in the hotel is quite grand, and there’s a ...
