Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

Service was fantastic. The concierges gave personal restaurant recommendations and helped us book red six tickets. Our room was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Location was right on freedom trail, so you can't get lost, if you've never been there. Skip the Boston cream pie, though.

    The Lenox Hotel

    The Lenox Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    5
    8 reviews
Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

The Lenox is the place to be if you want to ball it and visit Boston. It is not luxuriously modern, it is not chic nor boutique, and it isn't my style, but it's definitely up there in class, swagger, and that historic meets modern attitude I LOVE about Boston everywhere I go. The Lenox I believe is the #1 ...

    Four Seasons Hotel Boston

    Four Seasons Hotel Boston

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    6 reviews
Excellent! - 94% of guests recommend

There’s a reason why NBA teams chose to stay at the Four Seasons when they’re in town. The hotel’s rooms are large with big beds and have a larger-than-usual desk. There’s also plenty to do at the hotel, which has a 24/7 business center, a fitness area, and pool. Both the fitness area and gym have touches of luxury to ...

    Copley Square Hotel

    Copley Square Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    6 reviews
Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

This is a well-balanced hotel that has a nice mix of everything: good location adjacent to but not right in the middle of Copley Square, adequately-sized rooms. The building has a lot of history and though all of the modern amenities are there it’s still got the unique design of an older structure. The bathrooms and closets are slanted at ...

This hotel has an excellent location in Copley Place. It has the heavenly beds and excellent service. I usually opt for a more traditional hotel in historical cities like Boston. This is sleek and modern and offers all of the amenities you would expect from a Westin.

    Millennium Bostonian Hotel

    Hotel Class:

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

After visiting the Millennium Bostonian, I think it got that name because you’ll want to spend 1,000 years there. The rooms manage to be both spacious and cozy at the same time. There are a variety of different room sizes to choose from, some even offer excellent views of either Fanieuil Hall Marketplace or the North End. The Millennium has ...

    The Westin Boston Waterfront

    Hotel Class:

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

This building is massive and a big hotspot for conventions, and if there’s some major event happening here or in the nearby convention center, it’s probably your best bet. Unfortunately, the staff was a little snippy and impatient with me, and I think I caught one of the bellhops making fun of me behind my back. That may have just ...

    The Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston

    Hotel Class:
    4
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

Obviously there’s lots of historical background to this place (it’s celebrating its 100th anniversary in August), and if you value that you won’t be disappointed. There’s a host of sensational architecture and showy features, including, of course, Catie Copley the hotel dog (who seemed bored stiff when I was there). The fitness center has a decent amount of workout machines ...

There isn’t much, if anything, the Mandarin lacks. It’s location on Boylston Street in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay is ideal. The hotel has a currency exchange on its front desk, good for any weary traveler who doesn’t want to scour the area for a bank to change their Euros (or Pounds, Yen, Swiss Francs or about a half-dozen ...

Hotel Marlowe - a Kimpton Hotel

    Hotel Class:

Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Service is the key at the Marlowe, a Cambridge hotel right near the Museum of Science. Whether you are arriving, departing, or returning from exploring, the staff jumps to anticipate your needs. The leopard prints in the rooms are over the top and the location is definitely a dull part of town, but wine in the lobby, being pet friendly, ...

The Royal Sonesta is right next door to the Museum of Science and right across the street from the Cambridgeside Galleria, so it's a convenient location for those activities. If you are a runner, you can easily run along the Charles River since it runs next to the hotel. The T stop that it is closest to is a little ...
