The oldest hotel in Boston. Comfortable beds. Nice service. Very traditional. Close to many tourist attractions such as Quincy Market, Boston Common and the Freedom Trail. 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. Food in the hotel bar is very good. Home of the "Parker house" roll and creator of the Boston creme pie. Nice treats for kids. Family friendly.

    The Lenox Hotel

    The Lenox Hotel

    Class:
    8 reviews
Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

The Lenox is the place to be if you want to ball it and visit Boston. It is not luxuriously modern, it is not chic nor boutique, and it isn't my style, but it's definitely up there in class, swagger, and that historic meets modern attitude I LOVE about Boston everywhere I go. The Lenox I believe is the #1 ...

    W Boston

    W Boston

    Class:
    8 reviews
Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

The W Boston has all the predictable features of a W hotel, and I had a really good time when I stayed here a few years ago. It had a fun vibe, young, boutique vibe and it really made me feel like I was getting unique and personalized service (which I was)! This is definitely a good location in Downtown, ...

    Boston Harbor Hotel

    Boston Harbor Hotel

    Class:
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 94% of guests recommend

The Boston Harbor Hotel exudes a classic New England/Bostonian charm that you just can't get anywhere else. I loved the nautical theme to the place and the views are some of the best in the city. In fact, the hardest decision you'll likely have to make here is whether to take the harbor view or the city view, as both ...

    Nine Zero Hotel

    Class:
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Hula hoops in the fitness center. That should give you a better idea than anything else of the number of options and luxuries this funky Kimpton hotel has. There’s a layer of feather bedding on all the mattresses and about four different kinds of pillow including magnetic, available on request. All the soaps and lotions are specially-made imports. The location ...

    Four Seasons Hotel Boston

    Four Seasons Hotel Boston

    Class:
    6 reviews
Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

There’s a reason why NBA teams chose to stay at the Four Seasons when they’re in town. The hotel’s rooms are large with big beds and have a larger-than-usual desk. There’s also plenty to do at the hotel, which has a 24/7 business center, a fitness area, and pool. Both the fitness area and gym have touches of luxury to ...

    Copley Square Hotel

    Copley Square Hotel

    Class:
    6 reviews
Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

The Copley Square hotel is one of those rare finds. Friendly, luxurious, less than super expensive. Stand out elements include the happy hour, free Wi-fi (I don't know about you all, but I'm sooo tired of paying $20 a day or the like for internet at upper middle class hotels) and quirkily shaped rooms that reflect the historic character of ...

    Ames - A Morgans Original

    Ames - A Morgans Original

    Class:
    7 reviews

The Ames is somewhat of an avant-garde hotel with artwork adorning the walls and a hip bar downstairs serving drinks to a fun crowd regularly. I personally really loved the restaurant, and I ordered the lobster ravioli special, definitely a great blend of Boston's seafood roots and the Italian influence in the city. The service was also impeccable. The only ...

    The Westin Copley Place

    Class:
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

This hotel has an excellent location in Copley Place. It has the heavenly beds and excellent service. I usually opt for a more traditional hotel in historical cities like Boston. This is sleek and modern and offers all of the amenities you would expect from a Westin.

    Millennium Bostonian Hotel

    Millennium Bostonian Hotel

    Class:
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

After visiting the Millennium Bostonian, I think it got that name because you’ll want to spend 1,000 years there. The rooms manage to be both spacious and cozy at the same time. There are a variety of different room sizes to choose from, some even offer excellent views of either Fanieuil Hall Marketplace or the North End. The Millennium has ...

    The Westin Boston Waterfront

    The Westin Boston Waterfront

    Class:
    7 reviews
Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

This modern Westin offers a great business stay. Its contemporary rooms are elegant, offers plenty of space and super comfortable beds. The service is consistently good. It is not conveniently located for travelers on holiday; it is rather ideal for business that are specifically taking place at the nearby convention center.

    Mandarin Oriental

    Mandarin Oriental

    Class:
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

There isn’t much, if anything, the Mandarin lacks. It’s location on Boylston Street in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay is ideal. The hotel has a currency exchange on its front desk, good for any weary traveler who doesn’t want to scour the area for a bank to change their Euros (or Pounds, Yen, Swiss Francs or about a half-dozen ...

    Sheraton Boston Hotel

    Sheraton Boston Hotel

    Class:
    9 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

Like other hotels in the area, the Sheraton’s making an effort to try and be both green and business-friendly: their business center is huge and there’s a Fed-Ex in the building. Their in-house dining options are pretty lacking, limited to mainly coffee and sandwiches (I guess they figure you can just wander around in the Prudential center, which you can, ...

Hotel Marlowe - a Kimpton Hotel

    Class:

My son and I have stayed here several times when traveling to Boston for hockey games. The location is convenient and the price is generally less than hotels in Boston. Cambridge is just across the river and a short walk to a station for the "T", Bostons subway/trolley system. This hotel is really clean and the staff impeccable. I've encountered ...

    Hotel Commonwealth

    Hotel Commonwealth

    Class:

Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

The Hotel Commonwealth is stunning. The lobby has some pretty cool high back chairs, which should make you feel like the King of England when you sit on them. The rest of the lobby is equally ornate. While the lobby is lovely, the rooms are what I found to be the most attractive part of the hotel. They could be ...
