    Boston Harbor Hotel

    Boston Harbor Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    5
    6 reviews

The Boston Harbor Hotel exudes a classic New England/Bostonian charm that you just can't get anywhere else. I loved the nautical theme to the place and the views are some of the best in the city. In fact, the hardest decision you'll likely have to make here is whether to take the harbor view or the city view, as both ...

    The Boxer Hotel Boston

    The Boxer Hotel Boston

    Hotel Class:
    5
    2 reviews

As I approached the Boxer Hotel, located on a less-than picturesque street around the corner from the TD Garden, I mentally prepared myself for musty fumes, faded old carpets and grumpy staff. But I couldn't have been more off. The lobby of the Boxer was clean, airy and modern, and the staff was wonderful. And maybe I’m kidding myself here, ...

    Harborside Inn

    Hotel Class:
    4
    2 reviews

The Harborside Inn is a smaller boutique hotel just a stone's throw away from the aquarium and a number of sea-faring activities along the harbor. It is in a safe, pedestrian friendly area without countless restaurant, bar and shopping opportunities; Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall are just around the corner. It's an older building, dating back to the 1800s, and ...

Copley House is an alternative option for those looking to balance in between a traditional hotel and hostel stay. The charm of the historical South End seemingly creeps its way into Copley House’s doors, providing a unique apartment style living experience. Blended into its surroundings, the building fits in with the surrounding residential area. Operated by two young staff members, ...

One of the best hotels in the city. The rooms are comfortable and a bit unusual - not the typical tired set up. Great views of the water as well.

    Marriott's Custom House

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    3 reviews

While anyone is welcome to book just a few nights here, the vast majority guests at the Custom House are timeshare holders, who spend weeks at a time in the area. As such, the suites are all set up like little condos with separate bedrooms, baths, kitchen areas and living spaces. The building lobby is stunning with its Romanesque pillars, ...

    Charles Hotel in Harvard Square

    Charles Hotel in Harvard Square

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    4 reviews

Very nice business hotel in Harvard Square. Would be perfect, but health and safety culture has taken over a bit. So the windows don't open in your rooms and there seems to be an upper limit on how hot the water can get. But otherwise very good.

This is my Stammtisch! I love everyone I have met here (with one minor exception). They always give me the fabulous room 742. Courtyard by Marriott Boston Copley Square

    Hotel Class:
    4
    4 reviews

This is a fairly unique Courtyard property because it is was converted in 2007 from a historic hotel called 88 Exeter. It is technically not managed under the flagship "Courtyard" brand, so there are some almost boutique-like touches to this hotel that are different from other Courtyards. One of the eye-catching features of the hotel for me was the old ...

    Omni Parker House

    Hotel Class:

It just doesn't get more historic than this. The Omni Parker House (originally called Parker's) pioneered the idea of the luxury hotel and restaurant in an era when sleeping on the road often meant sharing a bed with a stranger at a tavern. Try the Boston Creme Pie; it was invented here. Walk right out the door into historic downtown ...
