    Hostelling International - Boston

    Hostelling International - Boston

    Class:
    3 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

I couldn’t believe this place was a hostel. Well, besides the young crowd, hip environment, and encouragement of traveling culture, yes I could. But Hostelling International’s newest location in Boston is truly a sight to see. It’s hip, it’s urban, and most importantly, it’s cheap for youthful travelers. Not only is breakfast free, but also so are their provided activities ...

    Harborside Inn

    Harborside Inn

    Class:

Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

As far as boutique hotels go, this is a remarkably solid choice in a great location near the harbor. It has a loft-like feel to it, with exposed brick galore, as well as really high ceilings in some of the guest rooms. Each guest room also has a huge, floor-length mirror, which I found both unique and very functional, considering ...

    Liberty Hotel

    Class:

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

This renovated jail made for a very nice place to stay. They surprised us with strawberries and bubbly in our room, and not a single part of the experience was lacking. Views of the river are great, rooms have lots of nice touches, and the staff were unfailingly helpful, even when they just happened to be in the elevator with ...

The hotel and staff are great. I really like the bar too. The hotel is located on the waterfront, which makes for amazing views of the Charles River and Boston Skyline.

    Sheraton Boston Hotel

    Class:

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

The Sheraton Boston is located in the city and is connected to the Prudential Centre. Great location, good food and the rooms are of the standard that you would expect from a Sheraton. I would recommend for short stays or business trips.

If you like planes then this hotel is for you. Talk about a room with a view! My 3rd floor room has a great view of the nearby terminal with British Airway planes and a giant windtower in the distance. They have complimentary shuttle service from the other terminals and easy access to the water taxi to get to town.

    The Boston Park Plaza

    Class:

Mediocre - 69% of guests recommend

The Park Plaza Hotel is more like a small city than a hotel. Almost anything you could want is in the same building. Take restaurants, for example. There are three different ones on site – an Irish pub, a seafood spot, and a fondue place. There’s also the Statler Lounge located inside the hotel’s lobby, its entrees are surprisingly affordable ...

    Omni Parker House

    Class:

Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

It just doesn't get more historic than this. The Omni Parker House (originally called Parker's) pioneered the idea of the luxury hotel and restaurant in an era when sleeping on the road often meant sharing a bed with a stranger at a tavern. Try the Boston Creme Pie; it was invented here. Walk right out the door into historic downtown ...

Stay at the Lenox Hotel and eat at City Table because there's something to be said for class, but there's a ton more to be said for a steaming pile of sliders. Bringing the common man that second option, City Table. Taking over Azure's old white tableclothed upscale dining locale in the Lenox and replacing it with an earthy "neighborhood ...

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

The W Boston has all the predictable features of a W hotel, and I had a really good time when I stayed here a few years ago. It had a fun vibe, young, boutique vibe and it really made me feel like I was getting unique and personalized service (which I was)! This is definitely a good location in Downtown, ...

    Boston Harbor Hotel

    Class:

Excellent! - 94% of guests recommend

The harbor view rooms are very nice and allow you to take in the entire waterfront, not just the canal. The architecture of the hotel itself is worth at least a few pictures, both outside and in. Everything feels wonderfully stately and old-fashioned, from the wooden dressers to the paintings on the walls. There’s a floating stage that has live ...

    Nine Zero Hotel

Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

First, I will say I like the location- not even a block from Boston Common and the Park St. T station. It is only a few blocks from Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall as well. Everything in the hotel is thoroughly contemporary and not over the top with glitz and glam or complicated technology. The front desk staff is very welcoming and ...

Most rooms have some sort of water view. This new hotel is in a few buildings at the end of the wharf, and very close to all the North End action (just about 3 minutes walk to Mike's Pastry).

In a brief visit to the XV Boston, I was really impressed by the style, understated elegance, and friendliness of this little boutique hotel. I've spent most of my time in Europe over the last few years and so have had limited contact with American hotels, but this one made me proud to be a Yank.

    The Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston

I haven't stayed overnight at the Copley, but I did attend a function held in The Grand Ballroom which was, to say the least, breathtaking. The crystal chandeliers, balconies, and gilded framework make it seem like something straight out of a Disney movie. If you're looking for a place to have a wedding or wedding reception, this space is something ...

The Copley Square hotel is one of those rare finds. Friendly, luxurious, less than super expensive. Stand out elements include the happy hour, free Wi-fi (I don't know about you all, but I'm sooo tired of paying $20 a day or the like for internet at upper middle class hotels) and quirkily shaped rooms that reflect the historic character of ...

I don't think I've ever come to a city to give out so many five star reviews as I have for Boston. Millennium Bostonian Hotel

The setup of this hotel is a little unique, as each of its three buildings are connected by criss-crossing walkways. This might be a little confusing at first but there are plenty of signs. It’s not a huge skyscraper but it certainly doesn’t feel outdated. In fact, there are attempts to be state-of-the-art (the minibar is motion-activated: really cool) but ...
