    Sound Bites

Sound Bites has an excellent menu of the brunch basics. They have streamlined the whole brunch process, allowing customers to handle their own custom coffee creations (much to my roommate's joy). The turnaround is quick, the service maybe a little gruff, but the food is quite tasty!

    Ten Tables

    3 reviews

The pork chop is divine at tiny ten tables. Basically, it's innovative American food cooked perfectly and served without pretension. There aren't too many restaurants of this breed, so reserving one of the ten tables is highly recommended.

    Giacomo's Restaurant

    11 reviews

Small place but arguably one of the most popular at North End. There is almost always a wait outside the tiny door, the interior is crowded but customers get to be up and close with the kitchen staff and see how the chefs operate. The waiters yells out your order to the kitchen, quite a sight and experience. The food ...

I loved this place!! This former jail is one of the coolest bars I have ever been too. The drinks are a bit expensive but the crowd is lively and the atmosphere great!

Legal Sea Foods - Park Place

    6 reviews

Looking for excellent sea food at a reasonable price? Legal Sea Foods is the answer. There are three locations in Boston, but all of them have a terrific menu that offers a nice array of seafood and a fine selection of wine to pair with your dish.

    Anna's Taqueria

    6 reviews

YUMMM! I miss this place so much! The burritos are AWESOME and so filling yet feel healthy due to the fresh veggies they use. I am a vegetarian, and often veggie burritos seem lacking (like they're missing an ingredient). At Anna's, they use completely fresh veggies which they chop right in front of you for your burrito. They have vegetarian ...

    Flour Bakery + Cafe

A Boston institution in the city’s South End, the bakery exudes a relaxed, neighborhood feel and serves a selection of delicate, sweet pastries. The meringue clouds and ginger molasses cookies are not to be missed.

    Deep Ellum Bar

Two words: Gorgonzola fries. New England wasn't exactly crying out for a Dallas-themed restaurant and bar, and yet, Deep Ellum exists and it is sublime. The space is on the smaller side, so come early or come late to avoid a crowd. Perfect for a date night, a date with yourself.

    O Ya Restaurant

    6 reviews

This is a very innovative sushi restaurant. We tried the chef’s menu which offered 14 items both raw and cooked, with twists like searing and foam added to the usual techniques for sushi and luxury non-traditional ingredients like truffles. They also have a fairly extensive menu of not commonly seen Japanese beers. Service was very attentive. Very expensive but an ...

A word of advice: don't come here with a big group. Not because the service is bad or anything like that, but because you won't want to have to share the incredibly delicious small plates. I can still remember the feeling of devastation at having to watch one of my fellow diners take the last bite of the glorious "sultan's ...

    Giacomo's - Southend

    2 reviews

Giacomo's food is mesmerizing. To make simple dishes into extraordinary dishes with such perfection takes the skill of a master and more. I've been to the North End location and this is the first time I've been to the South End sister restaurant. The big plus at this location is that on a Tuesday night, there is no wait and ...

    La Morra

    2 reviews

After having lived in Italy for four years and then been wrenched out of eating paradise into the United States of Processed Foods, I nearly ate myself sick at this little Italian spot in Brookline. They serve quite possibly the most authentic Italian food I've ever seen outside the penisola, including fried sage and arancini (great little fried rice balls). ...

    Modern Pastry Shop Inc

    6 reviews

When you are in Boston, stop by this little bakery and pick up my favorite cannoli, I prefer the basic ricotta with powdered sugar -- it is a crispy classic. Bring and home and enjoy with a nice cup of iced coffee on our upstairs deck.

Had a terrific meal here last week. The venison was divine and the appetiser was excellent as well. One of my companions had a lobster, which was also very good. V interesting wine list too. Hard to go wrong for upscale dining in Cambridge.

Finale is famous for a reason. The presentation and quality of their desserts are incredible. We snagged their Groupon twice - $18 for a 8'' cake or 6 pieces of pastry. We got the ultimate chocolate cake twice and a piece of tiramisu. If I wasn't lactose intolerant, I would have pretty much inhaled the cake. My boyfriend certainly did ...

    Oishii Boston

    5 reviews

Pricey but the food is quite good. The ambiance and service of the place are superb. Their maki are especially good, inventive and the contrast in flavor is amazing. They also have some interesting dishes including a mini fire grill that can sear salmon right at the table. Ideal place to go for a classy dinner or date.

If you love BBQ, just a straight up delicious meal, or a good deal, Soulfire is the place for you. By far the best ribs and fried chicken you can get up here in the north. You can get a huge platter of a meat, two sides, and a moist block of cornbread for just $15. I cannot say enough ...
