Boston and Surrounds Restaurants
This is, without question, a Boston landmark, and it's an incredible bar. The beer selection is outrageously huge (there's an entire *book* of beers on tap and in bottles), and it has a much more intellectual, bohemian feel than the typical Boston pub. The only problem is that it's often crowded, but that shouldn't stop you from checking this place ...
Took me long enough to finally get over here! The burgers are good and I love the inspired creations (I went with the Vermonster). I was a little disappointed by the fries which were far too big in my opinion. Service was good, the seating was a little cozy, and the decor was nothing special. It's fun for a burger ...Popular withStudentsFoodiesLocal
Not the sparkliest establishment on the list, but who cares? It’s your quintessential Boston bar, with your rowdy Pats fan sudsing with Bud and Suffolk girls downing vodka sodas. There’s no cover, and it’s a quick and easy stumble to an assortment of other Irish pubs and bars. Downtown for college students.Popular withStudentsNightlife
omg, it's the most awesome place to go out for dinner! I miss it so much. Everything is super delicious, starting with the bread you get in the beginning and ending with the best cheesecake there is on earth! :D it's not cheap, but it's totally worth itPopular withLocalFoodiesFamilies
Very similar to the Temple Bar (located not too far - I think they have the same owners), this is an upscale pub just outside of Harvard Square. It's a little pricey for the quality, but the food and drinks are good.Popular withLuxuryFoodiesStudents
Quite good! They make steak with the right flavor and usually gets the degree perfectly. The outback special (6 oz steak) with 2 sizable sides is only around $10! It's a fairly popular local spot at night. Good value, good food and good service.Popular withFoodiesFamilies
I got dinner here more out of convenience than anything else and, although I don't regret it, I know it wasn't one of my smartest decisions. The food was ok, but there are way too many good places to eat for a more affordable price right around the corner. Boylston Street is filled with Bar & Grill places that have ...Popular withFoodies
Always large portions, always consistent service! The Cheesecake Factory is always a home run, especially to anyone that hasn't experienced it before. Of course their cheesecake is amazing as well! Eat only half your meal and take the other half for your next meal so you will actually have room for a slice!
Nice restaurant/bar a little bit away from the crowds in Harvard Square. We've gone here for brunch a couple times and it's always hit the spot. Fresh and light contemporary brunch. On warm days sit outside on the roof. Great way to spend a late lazy sunday morning.Popular withNightlifeStudents
There is just something about that quest to find the “perfect” burger that the whole family can enjoy. You can choose basic options and go with The Big Tasty or get fancy with it and indulge in Spicy Jalapeño, Rise And Shine, or Hubba Burger! No matter what you choose, it is sure to be a mouth watering experience.Popular withFoodiesFamilies
3.5 stars. I usually don't frequent burger places (maybe ones or twice a year), but this place got so much attention and raves since its grand opening near my work, we decided to try it out during lunch time on a Thursday. My god it was packed. The line was quite literally out the door, but the people waiting reassured ...Popular withFoodiesFamilies
The Independent has a nice atmosphere. It's a decent pub with some ok grub, but it's nothing special. It is a nice mix between the upper scale in the area (think JourneyMan) and some of the lower scale eateries. My main issue with the food was the artichoke dip served with chips that were unable to scoop up any dip! ...
