Boston and Surrounds Restaurants
YUMMM! I miss this place so much! The burritos are AWESOME and so filling yet feel healthy due to the fresh veggies they use. I am a vegetarian, and often veggie burritos seem lacking (like they're missing an ingredient). At Anna's, they use completely fresh veggies which they chop right in front of you for your burrito. They have vegetarian ...Popular withBudgetFoodiesVegetarian

Painted Burro is a good spot for drinks, but the food is a nice change. There are all your typical dishes but with a tiny twist like empanadas with lamb. I quite enjoyed my meal here and am looking for to trying out some of their more adventurous dishes.Popular withFoodiesStudentsBudget
This is a nice, fun Mexican Restaurant in downtown Gloucester. It's not gourmet, so I only gave it 3 starts, but it's probably a 4 star as Mexican places go. Good service and perfectly good food. My other favorite restaurants are Alchemy (5 stars), Passports (4) and Latitude is great for seafood lovers. Many folks love the Causeway for it's ...
When you walk into Lolita, there's always the worry that you've accidentally found a vampire bar. The plush fabrics, dominance of the colors red and black, dia de los muertos portraits and chic clientele set the atmosphere. The food is ok, but what I come here for a fun night out. The margaritas and mojitos are quite tasty!Popular withLocalFoodiesLuxury
Don't go for the food. It was ok. In a city like Boston, you can luckily find some much better Mexican fare. The drinks and bar atmosphere is a whole other story though. I would certainly return for the drinks... and I'm tempted to find out more about the special tequila club they've got here.Popular withFoodies
I LOVE SUNSET!! This was my go-to spot in college (BU) for margaritas/beer/easy dinner/etc! They always have so many beer choices, as well as a million margarita options. The food is kind of fake Mexican food for the most part, but it's delicious & cheesy! It's a perfect spot to come with a big group, or if you just want ...Popular withNightlife
Nice restaurant/bar a little bit away from the crowds in Harvard Square. We've gone here for brunch a couple times and it's always hit the spot. Fresh and light contemporary brunch. On warm days sit outside on the roof. Great way to spend a late lazy sunday morning.Popular withNightlifeStudents

There's the kind of Mexican Food that anyone can easily make at home with some shredded cheese, a jar of salsa, re-fried beans and toritillas, and then there's the Mexican you get at restaurants like Zocalo. At Zocalo, the flavors are bold and tasty and ingredients taste fresh and hand-prepared. The portions are sizeable, but not so big that you ...Popular withFoodiesBackpackersLocal
I love how bustling the Seaport area of Southie is now. Rosa Mexicano is just another great example of why the Seaport area is a hot spot for dining in Boston. Rosa Mexicano has fun dishes like Jonah crab empanadas and homemade guacamole that easily make this restaurant a place to come back to. The drink menu is pretty decent ...
Tú y Yo is a refreshing departure from typical Tex-Mex food. You won't recognize these quesadillas at first, partly because they look more like calzones, but also because one of the filling options is "cuitlacoche," or black corn fungus. Somewhat like Olé in neighboring Cambridge, Tú y Yo serves up a combination of traditional Mexican fare as well as pre-Hispanic, ...Popular withVegetarian
