My favorite park!!!! Best to go when you have some time to relax on a nice day. Heard it was one of the oldest park in the US. Gorgeous trees and lots of tulips. Squirrels are everywhere and we saw a swan sitting on her nest. Make sure to stop by the thinking cup coffee shop (stumpton coffee) before hand. ...

    Fenway Park

Rather than review this monument to great baseball, let me tell you a story. I was fourteen and visiting Boston for the first time. My father and my uncle took me to Fenway. We walked up to the ticket office at the front of the park and asked if there were any seats left for the game. The woman started ...

The gardens are beautiful, but the swan boats are the best thing here! Don't miss the make way for ducklings statues, which are usually dressed up in seasonal accessories.

    Boston Duck Tours

I didn't realise that I would have sooooo much fun with this tour! Its not only for the kids. As a matter of fact there were more adults during the tour :) I had wanted so much to volunteer to drive the "amphibian" but to shy to volunteer. The driver who guided us even sounded like a duck "quack"

If you are traveling with young kids or you want a romantic activity checkout the sean boats in Boston Common. It's cheap and very sweet. 15 minute cruise around the duck pond, the backdrop of Robert McKloskeys book "Make Way for Ducklings".

    North End

    4.5
    35 reviews

This is a slice of Italy, right in Boston! Great cafes and restaurants. Hannover Street is the main tourist draw, but you will find better, less expensive and more authentic food on one of the many side streets. After dinner, don't forget your pastries from Mike's (if you're willing to wait in line) or Modern.

After a painful night of food poisoning, we stopped here on the way to North end and took a nice long nap on the bench. The place is peaceful with lots of shade and a great view. If you like to bike or go for a run I feel like this is another great place to do that other than ...

    Faneuil Hall Marketplace

I'd say this is the best place for souvenir shopping. Too bad I didn't have the time to shop around here :( There's a food court inside and it's close to North end. The street performers reminded me a lot of Santa Monica third Street promenade. Where they try to get a crowd before they perform and peer pressure you ...

Boston Tea Party Ship & Museum

Well this place is as random as random can be. It is located dead center in the middle of a river. On one side is a super fancy steakhouse and on the other is the Boston Children's Museum. It has two ships tied up alongside of it. These two ships have been on several TV shows that I have seen ...

    Good Harbor Beach

Good Harbor Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Northeast. It is lovely from dawn to dusk and is one of my favorite places to walk, especially in the morning close to sunrise. It's a great, fun place to swim, body surf, lounge or just people watch! It's about a 5-7 minute drive from here to there, ...

I really enjoyed this Museum but the munchkin hated it and got super freaked out. The first thing we saw was the rock room.
