I was told that Boudro's Restaurant on the River Walk was the best restaurant on the riverwalk. After eating there, and trying other restaurants on the riverwalk, I have to say that I am in total agreement that Boudro's is number one!

I have lived in San Antonio for 13 years so take this review to heart! Most of the San Antonio Riverwalk restaurants are acceptable but not great. If you want a unique, great dining experience, visit Boudro's on the riverwalk. It's a very small place so I definately suggest you call them for reservations if you can. The ambiance is great and if you want you can sit on the patio and watch the river boats come and go down the river. If you want a more romantic dinner, dine inside next to the rock wall. It's tight seating but the food makes up for it. I absolutely love the unique blackened Ribeye steak, but only for those of you who like me, enjoy some flair to your entree. Everything you order here will be great and the tableside Guacomole is a true Texas delicacy, so splurge and order it! After dinner, cross the river and walk thru the Hyatt hotel and up the stairs and you will be facing the Alamo! Boudro's is open for lunch too and a great lunch spot as well. Trust me, save yourself some time searching and dine at Boudro's and you will not be dissapointed!
