Paul has to be the most mainstream place to eat in Paris - but not fast food. it's a boulangerie (bakery) with a delicious assortment of bread, sandwiches and pastries. The croissant and the pain aux amandes are specially lovely. In some of their locations they have a dining room where you can have lunch as well.

Paul is a popular bakery featured throughout Paris. Paul does have their own little bakeries, but you'll often see Paul at stands in the metro. It's convenient if you're in transit and need to grab something quick and delicious to eat.Recommended for:Foodies

Other people seemed to have had good experiences but I was not impressed. They were very rude to us and seemed like they couldn't be bothered to take our order. And I did not like the coffee.

It's everywhere in Paris!!!!! It's a bit expensive, and I don't like the sandwiches, but they have ok "pain au chocolat" and "croissants". Ah! The "quiche Lorraine" and some "chocolate pie" I tried it was nice too. Well, Paul is one of those places is a safe option to go for a coffee or some snack, it's not extraordinary but it's nice.
