The museum that holds Napolean's Tomb has great exhibits for both World Wars. The Tomb closes early in the winter since it's almost all natural light.

I did not get a chance to go inside the museum. However, the external of the museum is pretty nice. Great pictures can be taken.

We walked up Les Champs-Élysées on our way to L'Arc de Triomphe. Honestly, it was nothing special - just a bunch of regular stores. The view up the avenue to L'Arc is quite nice, though.

It's the largest square in Paris, situated between the Tuileries and the Champs-Elysées. This is where Marie Antoinette was beheaded. I believe its between the right and left bank because I didnt realize while I kept walking from the right bank, I reached the square then further on found myself on the bohemian quarters of the left bank.

Don't miss it. Even on a cloudy day, it is a beautiful park full of sculptures and lovely fountains. Close to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde and other attractions, you are sure to pass by, so go ahead and do as Parisians do: sit by the shade or on one of those famous and popular green chairs and see ...

Rodin's sculptures are breathtakingly alive. While "The Thinker" is the big attraction here, don't pass too quickly over the rest of this genius's work-the marble truly suggests movement. Make sure you check the opening hours before you go. And go into the garden while you're there.

Hell, conveniently located under the louvre. This horrible, perpetually over-heated mall houses some important places to know, like the apple store, but it is basically to be avoided.

Not the most stunning bridge in Paris but a historic one! It was the first iron bridge in the city and connects right near the central park of the Louvre.

Saint Germain des Pres is based in the Sixth arrondissement (Sixth District) in Paris. It is home to many famous cafes including Cafe De Flore and Le Deux Magots. The popular CD compilation derives its name from here. I recommend going to Saint Germain des Pres if you want to sip some coffee and check out the Parisians as they ...

This is a smaller art musuem as it was the private collection of a wealthy couple. The famous pieces here are 2 Monet pieces, each of which consist of 4 large landscape canvases. Thus, each of these pieces sits in a circular room. Take a seat in the middle of the room and look around you in awe. The lines ...

Oye. This is definitely a "check the box" experience. Go, if you must, but be prepared that you won't get anywhere near the painting, and hundreds of other tourists will be taking selfies from 15' back. My vote would be to skip that and go see the other 1000s of treasures, including the awesome Napoleon's Apartments.
