Sushi by the boat load - obviously. Good food at a good price, average atmosphere but good eats all around.

    Kinjo Sushi & Grill

    2.03 mi from Bowness Park
    1 review

Free pocky! Automatic one star. Weekend evenings are insanely busy - expect 20 - 40 min waits. When you finally do get to be seated though, the good service is fast. Unlike the south location, the menu is plentiful. They always have a special menu for the season and it's good to switch up the normal items for something new. ...

7 Seas Seafood & Grill Restaurant

    9.13 mi from Bowness Park

We celebrated our mom's birthday here. The birthday celebration went above and beyond. We were amazed how superior the service was but the food itself is a great reason to eat here. Tasty, perfect and the price is equal to quality. This place is so clean and smells good. This is such an excellent choice for a very especial occasion! ...

    River Cafe

    6.1 mi from Bowness Park
    4 reviews

The River Cafe is an attractive restaurant among a pretty Prince's Island. Walking here within Downtown Calgary is almost half the fun. I dined here recently as part of a Business trip. This is a "Local and Sustainable" food place and it executes this well with very good food attractively presented. The wine list was interesting (albeit with a relatively ...

    Divino Bistro and Wine Bar

    6.68 mi from Bowness Park
    4 reviews

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Calgary. It is French bistro style with a relatively limited menu and a good but not vast wine list. However, the cooking is consistently well done. The charming old building with exposed brick walls and windows which open to the pedestrian mall gives it a pleasant atomosphere.

Steak, steak and more steak. This contemporary steakhouse has choice cuts of meat, monster salads and even some chicken on the menu - for vegetarians.

    Nellie's

    6.89 mi from Bowness Park

Great place for all day breakfast (although they close at 4). They have everything from your traditional eggs, bacon, hash & toast, to peroggies or cinnamon french toast. Yum. Great heavy foods to break the hangover from last night. Wait times are off the wall on weekends, anywhere from 20minutes to an hour for a table, and another minus is ...

Joey Tomato's Kitchen - Eau Claire

    6.26 mi from Bowness Park

2012 UPDATE Our Team had to work one Saturday, but there was still time for a leisurely late Lunch on the Patio at Joey's. It was a warm Indian Summer day and who knows how long it would be until the weather would "Fall Off the Cliff"? Service was friendly and attentive, the Lunch conversation was stimulating, and my Lobster ...

Higher ground is an awesome hang out spot. It's a local spot where you can curl up to a book or work on your laptop. Things I love about HG: Open late Cozy cabin atmosphere Noise levels are relatively low so you can have conversations with the person across from you Great lattes, even better teas **Free internet** although I ...

    Good Earth Cafes

    6.26 mi from Bowness Park

This Good Earth Coffee Shop is located at the Eau Claire Market and is one conveniently located Starbucks alternative. There's also a Tim's not far away and an even better Caffè Artigiano at Shell Centre a few blocks up. I like my Coffee fresh and black, of which Good Earth does well. There's also a decent pastry selection and optional ...

    Model Milk

    6.74 mi from Bowness Park

This could be the only restaurant in the city that didn't turn into a saloon during Stampede. Model Milk is a place that is unfazed, unmoved and unconscious of the nuances of the outside world. A place you duck in from the cold or the rain, and immediately your heart and stomach are warmed. The bar is a small 4-5 ...
