A Must Do in Sydney. For those worried about a fear of heights you are firmly secured all the way up and down and there is no chance of falling off.

A very expensive and very touristy way to see the views of the harbour. Unfortunately, no cameras of any kind are allowed and you will pay dearly for the "official" snapshots of the climb.

Recommendation is to do the climb at night or at sunset so that you can see the harbour and buildings light up, though this will most certainly ruin any chances of getting good pictures.

If you are in Sydney you must not miss this. I a extremely terrified of height, can't ride in a glass elevator more than 11 floors. I read all the reviews of how people that were afraid of heights did this climb and how amazing it was. Now, although is was very safe it was still terrifying. But I do have to admit that it was just spectacular.

The Bridge Climb is our most popular tour in Sydney! You can experience the atmosphere of this amazing city from the top of the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. Whether you go in the morning or at night, you won't be disappointed. Definitely a must but make sure you book in advance so you don't miss out!

Definitely do the Bridge Climb while you're in Sydney! It's a very memorable and unique experience. You literally feel like you're on top of the world with views of the entire city and beyond. You can choose from day, twilight or night climbs. It isn't a true climb either, it's simply a walk with a guide who tell you about the history of the contruction of the bridge and Sydney itself. It is very safe. A friend of mine who is afraid of heights even did it and loved it. Don't miss out on this one!

This is truly a once in a life time experience. I enjoyed myself so much and didn’t want to come back down. The view from the top is stunning and I loved every minute of the tour.

This is a must when visiting Sydney! The climb itself isn't too strenuous and you get the best view of Sydney in the city. You climb up one of the towers using ladders, then it's a gentle stroll to the centre of the bridge and back to the tower again. You get the chance to buy a photo of yourself with the Opera House in the background and we met some interesting people. I loved it!

It's a very nice view of Sydney Harbour from the top of the bridge. Also it's not very strenuous so easily accessible by all. A member of our BridgeClimb group proposed to his girlfriend at the highest point on the bridge (she said yes), which was pretty cool.

That being said, paying over $100 / head to walk up and down the bridge felt like you got gouged. In comparison, it's a $13 ferry ride to get to Liberty Island in NYC and free to walk to the top of the crown. In Sydney, save your $ and pay ~$10 and head to the top of the bridge tower instead.

Do the twilight climb. You get to watch the sunset from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The views of Manly Beach, the Central Business District and the Blue Mountains are incredible. It was a totally amazing three hour experience.

Helluva lotta fun. You put on a safety suit, and get trained on how to walk along safely linked to the bridge guardrails. If you flunk training, or flunk a breathalyzer, they send you away. Once you are ready, your group is lead up and along the Sydney bridge to the top, where you turn around and come down the other side. There are several photo ops along the way, and you can buy the pics (or not) when you are done. Great fun, great views, and something very unique to do.

Be prepared: You must have reservations to do this. We were able to come when they opened, signed up for later in the day, and came back.

For four years I had the pleasure of working at Bridgeclimb as a tour guide. Climbing one of the most iconic landmarks in Australia for my job was definitely not your average 9-5. The view from "my office" was breathtaking and is the best way that someone can see and learn about Sydney. I had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of people from all over the world and I was so proud to show them my hometown. If your relatively fit the climb itself is not overly strenuous. For those with a fear of heights, please don't be put off, it is not as hairy as you would think and be assured that your guide is trained well to help you along the way. I helped many a tourist overcome their fear of heights, it was always such a delight to share their accomplishment of "conquering the Bridge". The view from the top is well worth it and absolutely belongs on your bucket list. If any other fellow Gogobot's have any Bridgeclimb questions please don't hesitate to ask.

One of the things you MUST do while you're in Sydney. It affords remarkable views of the harbour and you feel like you're on top of the world. If you can, take the twilight tour, an amazing sunset over the city.

This climb is certainly the most exciting and romantic work out! It seems easy, but to hike up those 134 meters is somewhat challenging and scary! There is a whole preparation including changing into the 'climb jumper'. The climb is set in small groups and takes about 4 hours. The view from atop is magnificent. The ‘Twilight climb’ was especially romantic as climbers can watch the day fade away while the evening comes to life from the summit.
