A red colored bridge along the Willamette River. It is said to be the longest rall-type (rolling lift mechanism when opened) bascule bridge in the world. Built in 1913, it holds a lot of history and it's great that money was put in for renovation and restoration over the years to keep this bridge functional today. Portland's streetcar system passes through this bridge. I came upon this bridge when walking on a path that ran under the bridge along the shoreline of the river, which led to great photo ops.

A long industrial bridge cutting across the Willamette River, the Broadway Bridge is one of the oldest city bridges in Portland. Built in 1913, the bridge spans 304 feet and is a vintage highlight among the many passing bridges cutting across Portland.

On weekends, the tram system is free (if you stay within the yellow zone) and I took it over this bridge during the Rose Festival. Theres a great view as you pass over the bridge!

This is the bridge the Max (lightrail) crosses on and is the most convenient for the Pearl District (on the west side) and the Rose Quarter (on the east side).

I am actually not a super big fan of this bridge. While I like most of the bridges in Portland, this one is just very small. It also does not connect very important parts of Portland together.
