Broadway Plaza Hotel

I really liked this hotel! It is in a great location and the staff was amazing. I gave it 3 stars for several reasons. The first is that it is basic and I don't mean that in a bad way. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Manhattan then this is perfect. The hotel offers great ...

Book of Mormon! Smaller than I thought, so still afforded pretty good views. Fan of Broadways so it gets points for me finally getting to watch a musical with the original cast!

Beautiful building and the namesake of the district it is located within. There's not much else to do, but look at it and appreciate the unique shape.

Herald Square is the intersection of Broadway, 6th Avenue and 34th street. Herald Square is the home of Macy's flagship store and is the terminus of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Definitely one of the places you should visit around Christmas time.

Not the best rooftop that New York City has - a bit touristy for my taste - but you certainly can't beat this view, and the massive space that the rooftop garden has. Winter time, you even get a blanket to cover yourself with.

Very interesting on incorporating the history of art and sex. The evolution of how far we have come from accepting our sexuality back then to concealing it today as a taboo.

Nice roof top bar at the top of Eataly. Fills up quickly after work so arrive early to avoid a long line. Offers a good selection of beer, wine, and light bites. There are nice glimpses of the Empire State Building. Crowd is definitely more Midtown than Downtown so expect a lot of dress pants and starched shirts.

Best flea market in Manhattan! Enter the garage and find two full floors of great stuff. Lots of vintage fashion, jewelry, housewares, and furniture, as well as photos, magazines, and toys. We spent over two hours here and didn't even notice. We scored some French 1920s magazine art and a vintage Coach bag for next to nothing. Awesome!

Five stars for the pride lights and the roof deck. The audio tour, which comes with your admission is maybe 2.5 - the real gem here is the deck itself, 86 floors up and outdoors.

Going up onto the High Line is essentially stepping away from the Meatpacking eclectic madness. A long paved path adorned with wild vegetation and flowers, The High Line serpents between buildings, running north to south in a snaky line between West 12th and West 30th Streets. Along its concrete path, tourists promenade, overlook the Hudson River and walk under the ...

Andy Warhol's factory used to be here when the park was filled with junkies and May's department store was on 14th. Now it basically sucks with a bunch of yuppies buying rotten applesauce or some such crap.

I cannot express my love for this place enough. I love libraries, especially ones with beautiful architecture and a rich history. This was one of the highlights of my first trip to New York. I came during the anniversary last year and they had an exhibit on the history of the library and some of their collection on display.
