Perfect little golden Australian beach along the hike from Bondi to Coogee. I stopped and had a picnic lunch here, which was lovely on the shaded picnic tables. There's also ample lawn space if you want to be really traditional, and they also have rinse-off points and public toilets for the weary traveler.Recommended for:

One of the best sydney beaches, just around the corner from bustling Bondi, Bronte is where the locals go to chill, do the Bondi to Bronte walk and take a break at one of the busy cafes on the Bronte stretch. You'll have to wait for a table on the weekends as it's a popular spot but it's well worth it. Alternatively grab some take away fish and chips and take a pew on the grass overlooking the beach, you'll have to fight the pigeons though.

We loved Bronte Beach. It was less busy and touristy than Bondi Beach. The kids enjoyed playing in the giant tide pools and climbing the rocks looking for crabs. If you get beached-out, you can also take your kids to the playground up on the grassy area.Recommended for:

Bronte is usually quiet, sunny and gorgeous. There is a row of small shops where you can sit down for a nice coffee, meal or even get take away fish and chips.. walk down the grassy green path to the water and have your own picnic. There is a tiny train that children can ride on. The beach is small and cozy.Recommended for:
