Had a great time here for a friend's birthday. We went on a Saturday afternoon, so no music to experience, but no crowds either. The food was also pretty good. Saw lines and crowds on our way out, so if you're more about food and bowling than the music, hit this place up in the afternoon.

I've met lots of great people here. My friends' bands also play here often so maybe I'm biased. I feel like they never have stouts or porters. That should change.

Beer from next-door Brooklyn Brewery and gourmet food from the Blue Ribbon group fuel nights out at hip Brooklyn Bowl, which opened in 2009 in a 19th-century Hecla Iron Works building in Williamsburg. How hip? The world’s first LEED-certified bowling alley—100 percent wind powered—also happens to have a killer sound system and has hosted performances by Guns N’ Roses, Kanye West, M.I.A., and Snoop Dogg.

Do you like great music? Dancing (great dance floor) Dynamite eats? Cocktails, beer, and wine? and Bowling? If you do or a combination of any of these Brooklyn Bowl is a great place to go! One of my favorite clubs in the US of A! I have had the opportunity to see quite a few bands come through here... Dumpstaphunk, Funky Meters, Dirty Dozen... and I have a had great time every time!!!

Amazing venue for live music especially if you get a bowling lane. Great beer & I hear they have some of the best fried chicken in NY! This picture was captured at a Goldroom performance.

This place is a whole scene, equipped with restaurant, stage venue, multiple bars, and of course bowling lanes. Though sound quality isn't always the greatest for concerts, the environment is fun and energetic. In fact we are thinking hosting our next TIMEREPUBLIK NYC event there. The most fun I've ever had bowling. One of the few reasons I'd leave Manhattan to venture to BK.

The funkiest bowling alley around; great music, beer, fun and eclectic crowd and always a good time.

A very fun experience. Bowling & having a reggae concert going on right behind you! If you've never been, it's worth a try. Though, it can get pretty loud. So, if quiet is your thang, try a library.

Brooklyn Bowl is a unique bowling alley with good food and frequent live performances by interesting bands. It's very loud and the wait for a lane is often extremely long, but it's still a fun spot to visit.

A bit pricey on the bowling but a pretty interesting space for seeing live music. Food is pretty decent as well.

Bowling is overpriced and maybe a wait, but the food and shows here are worth it.

Description

With its bright lights, live music, and location in one of the hippest parts of Brooklyn, this isn't your average bowling alley. Brooklyn Bowl is one part bowling and one part music venue, and the two frequently mix and mingle. They boast 16 lanes and a bowler's lounge, where patrons can enjoy food and drink while watching the show on HD screens hoisted over the pins. Bring your A-game and ... read more
