Warm, welcoming and relaxed, Brown’s Boutique is a little slice of the Mediterranean set deep within the heart of Queenstown. Located only a few minutes walk up a gentle slope towards the gondola, this is the ideal spot from which to explore everything Queenstown has to offer. On a sunny day be sure to take advantage of the lovely enclosed courtyard as your chosen breakfast location. Or perhaps take time out from your adrenaline-based activities for a quiet game of life-sized chess. The rooms continue the European theme with simple, quietly elegant décor, each with a balcony from which to take in the surrounding views or sparkling lights at night. Gillian and Donald obviously take great pride in both their accommodation and their town - be sure to take advantage of what’s going on by having a yarn with them before you set out for the day.

With an almost Mediterranean feel this little boutique hotel sits in a category all to itself. With the architectural look and feel of a hotel transported from Europe, this place should feel at odds with the mountains it sits beside - but somehow it fits in just right. You couldn't ask for a better location right in the heart of the action just steps from the centre of Queenstown. The hosts are passionate about their place and it shows - the little touches are all there and their efforts are definitely make for a richer experience. The courtyard is prime real estate on a warm summers day with the morning sun pouring in and completing the Mediterranean picture - it's the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or challenge your travel companions to a game of chess on the near life sized board. Above all it's a solid entry in the luxury boutique hotel options in Queenstown, one that has been pleasing guest for a decade and shows no sign of changing.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers
