An attractive promenade that extends along the top of the old fortress above the Elbe. It was dubbed as 'The Balcony of Europe' in 19th century. Today, anyone can enjoy this great stroll esp during sunset period.

Brühl's Terrace (German: Brühlsche Terrasse) is a historic architectural ensemble in Dresden, Germany. Nicknamed "The Balcony of Europe", the terrace stretches high above the shore of the river Elbe in a city which is quite large as measured by area relative to its half a million inhabitants. Located north of the recently rebuilt Neumarkt Square and the Frauenkirche, is one of the favourite inner-city places of both locals and tourists for walking, people watching, and having a coffee.

Балкон Европы. Замечательные виды на город со стороны Эльбы. Прекрасная архитектура. Особенно сильно захватывает дух, когда осознаешь, что все это было разрушено.

Sometimes called the Balcony of Europe during its prewar heyday, the half kilometer promenade offers a beautiful view of old town Dresden and the River Elbe.

Great view of the best part of the city. Beware - many tourists!
