Well, if you like shrimp, this is an ok place. You get a sign on your table, telling the waiters if you are in need of service or if you're doing ok. Lots of memorabilia from the Forest Gump movie. don't expect haute cuisine here and don't expect very good service either.

This restaurant is loud and fun. The servers are energetic and check on your table frequently. During my meal, they also did a Forrest Gump Trivia game where she asked questions related to the movie. Since I got all the questions correct, she said I won a Bubba Gump drinkware. For my meal, I ordered Jenny's Catch which was tasty. I would like to come back here to try their other seafood dishes. They all looked so good!

I was always crazy about going to Bubba Gump... main reasons, I love shrimp and I love the movie Forrest Gump.
I liked the place but was a bit disappointed because I thought they would have more options. I got the shrimp heaven and liked it, but was not in love with it.
The coconut shrimp is awesome... this one was worth the lunch. Beer and appetizers are also great.

Even being a very touristic restaurant I really liked the food, the environment and the crew that was working there. Be ready to wait for at least 30 minutes, but if you get a table by the window with a view to the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz you will certainly realize that it worth the wait and all.

I made up for the non-alcoholic experience the night before by having a Sunburst (complete with keepsake cup with flashing lights). I tried my best not to down it all at once because I knew it would be a creeper. It went nicely with my Run Across America Sampler of fried and cold shrimp, hush pups, chicken strips, and artichoke dip. If I had to choose between cocktail and fried shrimp, I'd pick cocktail hands down. It's healthier, and I can eat more without slumping over in a food coma afterward. The restaurant's ambiance was a little crazy in the beginning. People were sitting waiting, lining up on the walkway ramp waiting, standing around the bar waiting, ya get my point. It was worth it though. Our group of 16 was seated in under 30 min, and our table had a nice view of the bay with Alcatraz in the distance.
