Good! - 77% of guests recommend

You realize why doctors prescribe spas to patients in Europe when you visit the baths here. There really *is* something different about the waters here. (Really; the mineral content is incredibly high and you do tend to feel better from whatever ails you after an hour.) While the spa is famous (one of the outdoor pools actually has a wave ...

    Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge

    Hotel Class:
    4
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 91% of guests recommend

While not pretty to look at from the outside, the recently remodelled Sofitel is quite a marvel. The interior of the former headquarters of the now defunct Hungarian National Airlines looks like something out of a Sci-fi film as the inside of the building is completely hollowed out with a replica airplane suspended from a ceiling that appears to be ...

Considered the finest hotel in Budapest, the Gresham Palace also makes a strong bid for one of the most elegant hotels in the world. Recently completed in 2004, the building originally built in 1906 to serve as the Gresham Insurance has been thoughtfully restored and certainly enhanced to its current magnificent state. If you are a seasoned traveller, you will ...

    Budapest Marriott Hotel

    Hotel Class:

Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

The views from the rooms in this hotel can compete with those from The Four Seasons Gresham Palace, and that seems to go for every room, which is a claim I don’t think they can actually make over at the palace. The hotel’s 1969 built exterior and some of the common areas do feel more dated than historic perhaps, but ...

I stayed here back in 2008 when I was backpacking around Europe. This was the best and one of my favorite hostels of that trip. Aventura has very cute themed rooms. We stayed in the India room for the first few nights and the very vibrant Africa room on our last night there. There are laundry facilities and we when ...

Awesome location. Concierge is extremely personable and helpful especially when finding things to do and places to eat. The rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast is delicious for a European hotel - not only meats and cheese but donuts, eggs, and cereal! Would not recommend staying anywhere else in Budapest.

The 8th district in Budapest used to have a nasty reputation but over the years it had cleaned up and adapted a somewhat bohemian style. It is conveniently located which makes this hotel even more attractive and yet off the usual main boulevard chain hotels. The building faces a small neighborhood park with a church on the corner and the ...

Intrigued by the name, and guided by good ratings and the cheap price, my friends and I booked three nights at the Goat Hostel.
