I first discovered this theatrical majestic restaurant, thanks to On Location Tours featuring Sex and the City hotspots. Fans of the TV show, and the 2 movies, may recognize the grand staircase from the first movie where Carrie and Big celebrate their rehearsal dinner. The decor is surreal, with countless lounges and nooks for elegant dining, exuding a Hollywood feel. If you are looking for a restaurant to impress your date or celebrate a special event, Buddakan is it.

I'm Chinese, so trust me when I say that the food here is delicious!
We didn't have reservations so we grabbed a table in their swanky and dimly-lit lounge area. We ordered some lychee martinis which were fab.
As for the food, everything we ate was delish! There were no leftovers to take home. Highly recommend their General Tso's dumplings, pork belly buns, lobster fried rice and chili rock shrimp. Service was fantastic and the food came out fast.
Ambiance is Asian-chic and the space is enormous with vaulted ceilings. Perfect for a date or large party.

This place looks more like a movie set then a restaurant...especially the main room. The food here is great and meant to share....so while good for two its better for a larger group. The bar is alo a great place to go for a drink and thu have some great cocktails

What an adventure... this non-descript looking building houses one of the most incredible restaurants. Not only is it a visual feast with it's multiple levels, mute lighting and beautiful decore, its got GREAT food. We were recommended to visit here by our hotel concierge and he gave us a real treat of a place.
Default... the ambience is beautiful. The food is delightful and it's so romantic. Well worth getting reservations before walking up and asking for a table. You'll love the food and fall in love with the space.

Really fun place to come. You must start off with a FATE cocktail. It has st. germain, passion fruit, and is topped off with champagne. Start of with edamae dumplings and the duck salad. Any dessert here is delicious as well.
