Havana is famous for their dulce de leche treats, so we had to give them a try. I asked for the thing they're famous for and the cashier gave me this delicious creation of chocolate and dulce de leche. It comes in additional flavors and with fruit, but I opted for the original. Not disappointed.Popular withLocalFoodiesStudents

Sugar Bar is run by mostly expats and there is a strong focus on attracting expats to this bar. The service is always consistent and all the staff speak perfect English and operate like any bar you would find in the States. This place is a very popular event space for groups like Spanglish and other expat social groups in ...Popular withBackpackersNightlifeStudents

La Boca is famous for the Tango, which you'll find on El Caminito, the main pedestrian street. There's some shopping and lots of sidewalk restaurants. The houses are brilliantly colored which tells you right away that this place likes to party.Popular withLocalBusinessGreen

This place is gelato heaven. I could eat the dulce de leche granizado (dulce de leched with chocolate bits) all day long. There are numerous outlets throughout the city. I prefer the one in Recoleta just because of the neighborhood. This is BA. You have to have the dulce de leche. It will never be this good at home.Popular withFoodiesLuxuryAdventure

It's a versatile all-you-can-eat buffet specialized on BBQ or "Asado". Conveniently located, it allows you to wander Puerto Madero afterwards. Nothing fancy nor the best parrilla in town, but it's worth giving it a try.Popular withFoodies

This is hands down the best meal I had in Buenos Aires, and one of the best meals I've ever had in my life (and I've been fortunate to have lots of great meals all over the world!) The simple but delicious (and surprisingly affordable) menu marries interesting flavors, but more importantly, you can tell that so much care and ...Popular withFoodiesBusinessGreen

One block over from the apartment. Politicians, actors, celebrities sometimes visit for a beer or coffee. A little pricey, but a nice place to have a lunchtime beer and a sandwich outside under the massive Ombu tree.Popular withFoodiesLocal

Great, authentic argentinian pizza! One of the top traditional pizzerias in Buenos Aires. To me, a perfect evening incluides a slice of "Cuatro Quesos" after a good play on Av. Corrientes. Be patient, you might have to wait for a while to get a table, but it'll be totally worth it!Popular withBudgetFoodiesBackpackers

peruvian-style sushi in argentina. one of my favorite non-argentinian argentinian restaurants. as with any sushi feast, try a little bit of everything. you won't be sorry. that said, it can get pricey. bring your sugar mama/daddy or put it on your company's expense report.
