One of the best underground places you should NOT miss! It's interesting to sit in a tiny metro bus that only have four seats. My daughter love the experiences of watching the neon light and magic animation while went through the under-the-river tunnel.

This 'sight' is a bit wierd. You're not actually sightseeing The Bund if you take a ride on the train in this underwater tunnel. It runs between Puxi and Pudong, but at a 50 RMB ticket price it is not meant to be used for transportation.
Inside the tunnel you'll see different light displays, and it is a fairly fun trip, but don't expect to see any Bund-related things.

This reminds me of that Willy Wonka boat ride scene -- the trippy lights, that is, not the creepy imagery. This is a fun way to cross from the Bund to the Pudong area and vice versa. You essentially go underground and board a tram that will take you through a neon lit tunnel to the other side. There are other ways of crossing the Huangpu River, but this is kind of a psychadelic touristy way that I suggest you do at least once while in Shanghai.

Stop this ride Wonka I want to get off! Lots of Willy Wonka quotes come to mind as you take this crazy ride under the Bund. It's filled with lights, some different background music and effects, a story in the depictions and displays, and just was a fun ride. It sort of reminded me of Swarovski in Austria too. If you are trying to get the Oriental Pearl Tower it's the most entertaining way to go.

The tunnel is colorful, completely kitschy, short and expensive (around $5), but nevertheless it's worth to have a ride to see, what chinese people might find interesting. There's also the possibility to buy tickets to some of the famous sights in pudong with the tunnel ticket cheaper, so you should consider doing so as you won't go to pudong without a reason..

This is basically an underground cable car ride through a tunnel that crosses the Bund. The tunnel has a bunch of neon lights in it that are supposed to dazzle the rider. All in all, it's super pricey and just a slow ride through a bad light show. Not worth it!
