The Burj Khalifa is a stunning piece of architecture and is visible from most parts of Dubai. Standing close to it at the Dubai Mall is humbling.

I'd give this a higher rating, but I didn't actually go _up_ in the tower, so who knows? But as a symbol of a city and a pseudo-public space, the tower and the mall and the fountain around it is a must-visit in Dubai. The tower is beautiful, and it's fun just to walk around and see everyone else gawking at it, and trying to take pictures that try to fit the whole thing in the frame. The musical fountain is...well...a musical fountain, but to quote my brother-in-law, the scene around it at dusk is "very Star Trek planet"--it feels like some sci-fi otherworld, with people from everywhere and soft lighting.

The tallest bldg in the world! You will be able to reach the top at the 124th floor in less than a minute :)

You have to visit here to know what height and foot print is all about. If you like to test flexibility of your neck bending go near the building and try to find out the tip of the building. Musical fountains played at night is a wonderful thing, but usually crowded as this is near to the dubai mall

Tallest building in the World. You gotta see, unfortunately you can't go to the very top but the viewing platform is on 120th floor. When you're there it doesn't seem so high, but you get a 360 view.
They also provide you telescopes to point around the city, it shows the historic view and current. Pretty cool.

Its interesting and lovely man made structure. Looking at the huge building beautifully designed reaching into the sky is awesome. Its quite hot out front so you wont stay out long. the view from top is expansive. Lots of sea and sand to look at.you can actually see a bit of the palms. The mall is well designed and had a homely feeling which i absolutely loved. The musical fountain was just perfection of music and dance.
