I liked Burkina. Even though Ouagadougou was a busy place, there was this intrinsically laid back feeling to it. There weren't too many other tourists there, I kinda like. It makes me feel cool. There wasn't an abundance of attractions here that I would recommend but the people and the country itself were great.

This “Land of the Upright People” is land locked and among the world’s most impoverished but known for its music and delightful residents. Most of the people of this nation, formerly known as Upper Volta, reside in the oh-so-fun-to say capitol of Ouagadougou (pronounced wog-a-doo-goo). The attraction of this West African nation is the vibrant culture and Africa’s most important and spectacular film festival, Festival Panafricain du Cinéma et de la Télévision de Ouagadougou, held every other year.
