I recently went here with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. After you register and pay, you go to the locker room and you get to put on a racing suit. Then report to the designed room where they play a safety video for the do's and don'ts on the track. They make every precaution to make sure you ...Popular withAdventureFamiliesLocal

Powells is a candy store, it is a gelato store, above all, it is a happy store. There are contemporary candies and nostagic ones. Some vintage candy furniture and of course candy themed movies always showing in the small screening area: willy wonka (the original one) was on on the day of visit. Happy place found.Popular withFamilies

One of the best places to find dozens of cosmetic brands in the same store! There are usually free samples available for customers, and there are testers of every product in the store. My only complaint is that the strong perfume aroma gives me a bit of a headache.

I pre-paid for the Super Shuttle to take me from the San Francisco airport to my hotel. Upon arrival I was told that it was a 5 to 15 minute wait—which is what I expected. After 5 minutes I was told to take shuttle 228 when it arrived. 5 minutes later shuttle 228 arrived. The driver pulled up to the ...

It's It! This iconic ice cream sandwich has been part of my Bay Area experience since I moved here in 1984. And it hasn't mattered whether the flavor has been Vanilla, Chocolate, Mint, or Cappuccino. This dessert treat has seems to be harder to find these days, although one nearby convenience store stocks the complete selection. The It's-It was invented ...Popular withSpiritual

Timeless. Elegant. Magical. If those words describe your dream wedding, then you should consider having it at Kohl Mansion. The photos you see here and on their website really do capture the beauty of the mansion and its surrounding grounds. It will definitely cost a pretty penny though. I attended a lovely wedding here a few weekends ago, and the ...Popular withHistory

This small store on the second floor is packed with elegant pre-owned label clothing. Try on a Chanel suit for only $250, or lined wool slacks for $75. They have cashmere sweaters, silk cocktail dresses, and a great selection of bags and boots. Shoppers get plenty of attention, or if you let them know you're browsing, they'll leave you to ...Popular withBudgetLuxuryDesign

This thrift shop is casually organized and kind of a messy jumble, but that what makes shopping here fun. You get the thrill of the hunt. You can find a leather jacket, or a spool for an old Singer sewing machine. Park in the public pay lot. Proceeds from this thrift store benefit the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA, so ...Popular withBudget

This is a cool meeting hall/venue in a near looking building. Near Caltrain, but plenty of parking is available.
