ECHO Science Museum on the waterfront is a great place for kids (and adults) with interesting permanent and special exhibits and a wet and wonderful touch tank. There is also a nice place to eat on their deck overlooking the lake.

If you are looking to get into a little more Vermont city action, maybe a little shopping or a nice lunch head to Burlington for the day. There is a lot to do and see. Be sure to check out our busy Church Street Marketplace for shopping and lunch or dinner and stop to see the Echo Aquarium, a great interactive place to see and learn about Lake Champlain's history and ecosystem! Perfect for children and adults alike. Right on lower main street is a bike rental shop where they can set you up to use the Burlington Bike path along the waterfront.

Be sure to see what festivities are happening in Burlington during your stay! The Church Street Marketplace is a pedestrian-friendly area offering a little out of the ordinary shopping and many restaurants with outdoor dining. Head to the waterfront for more great dining opportunities including boat dinner cruises!

College town overlooking Lake Champlain, Church Street - the main shopping is a walking mall with lots of wonderful outdoor dining - unique shops galore, green grocer and lots of activity.
Next town south is where the very fine Shelbourne Museum and Farm raises Morgan Horses, has the largest carriage collection and a real Vermont village created by the Family that built the Biltmore House in North Carolina
