Visiting from NYC, we have our fair share of Thai. This was so good, I think we came back about 3 times on our trip! Everything we had was amazing, very cozy place with community tables. Must visit!

My favorite restaurant in London, hands down. Every dish is beautifully presented and very tasty. The atmosphere is super hip, with high ceilings, lacquered wood and lighting that makes it feel intimate even when the place is packed. And the cocktails are great as well. Definitely get a reservation, though, as they fill up weeks in advance.

17/20; Food 9/10, Ambience 4/5, Service 4/5. Located on bustling Charlotte Street, this long-established sister establishment to Zuma is a great place for modern Japanese in London. With a large robota grill and other visible kitchen activities lending a upbeat vibe to the very open, glass enclosed space, this place always has a buzz. And so it should - the ...

All about steaks. Several different cuts. I like the sirloin. They'll bring out the meat and tell you about the different cuts, marbling and portions. Good if you're in the mood for protein. There are a couple of other locations.

So I absolutely love tapas and if we could afford to eat here every week I would. The Iberico Presa and Jamon Croquetas were to die for! My mouth is watering just thinking about them

One of London's hottest restaurants right now - and correspondingly one of the hardest to get a table at (the waiting list is currently around six months). Chef Ollie Dabbous cut his teeth with Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir and has also done stints at L’Astrance, Hibiscus, Texture, Noma and The Fat Duck. The molecular gastronomy influences of El Bulli ...

Store Street Espresso is a charming little cafe off the side of a quiet street in London. They have outdoor communal seating and their espresso is good.

This is an excellent casual thai restaurant on Charlotte Street in London. I stayed at the Charlotte Street hotel for business a few times, and went here for dinner at least twice per visit. The space inside is very small, so at peak times you may have to wait for a table, but the food is great. Is is gourmet ...

Fantastic Japanese food in Fitzrovia. Plates are small but delicious. Get the tempura, which is light and flavourful. Also - come early for dinner - if you order by 7, you get 30% off your food.

When you are visiting London, you must at least once go for high tea, and when you do, the Wolseley is one of the best places to do it. This is London at its finest. They serve amazing finger sandwiches (with the crusts cut off - hoorah!) - cakes, scones with clotted cream (one of the tastiest substances known to ...

This is a chain that offers all different sorts of Asian noodle dishes - udon noodle soups, ramens, fried noodles with prawns, etc. Rice dishes as well. It is all tasty and fresh. You don't have private tables - everyone sits along long benches. But it is inexpensive, heathy and very good for a quick lunch.

If you're missing North American style burgers this is the place. It puts all pub burgers to shame and although somewhat pricey it is value for money as you're getting a huge quality burger and a generous side of fries/onion rings/etc. TRY the fried pickles as an appy. YUM and the hard shakes are also so delicious. Just try not ...
