Cabazon is a place you wouldn't know you were in, unless you looked at the receipt from your gas receipt from the big Service Station here. That is because it is really in the middle of nowhere. Well actually, it is the blow hole that is at the moouth of the valley leading into Palm Springs and related points east, past the myriad of Wind Mills.
The most famous thing here is the Morongo Indian Casino, which has grown in stages into a huge complex with shopping outlets and a hotel.
Otherwise, this would have been a sleepy little stop off highway 10 on the way to the Springs.

Three stars for its awesome outlets. I have not been to the weird dinosaur museum, but I'm guessing if I do visit, I'll be compelled to give Cabazon five stars (*sarcasm*). Maybe I'll be delightfully surprised.
