From the greeting at the door through the lovely banquette we were seated in through the fantastic food and the charming, warm, and still special service, this was the best meal we had in New York, easily, and among the top five for me ever. I had duck two ways--one of which was a beautifully glazed roasted breast and the other of which was a confit with a remarkable zabaglione sauce. Fantastic. My partner had a rissotto with spring peas that was unearthly in its beautiful layering of flavors. Our appetizers were just as delicious and the desserts, and especially the warm basket of madeleines, were simply magnificent.
