Café Pouchkine is a Russian bakery on the ground floor of Printemps department store. It's tiny but the cakes and sweets are pieces of art, they are so beautiful you feel sorry for eating them. The seating space is scarce, but the wait is worth it, because there is probably not a more glamorous place in Paris to have a piece of cake.

Had the most gorgeous pot of hot chocolate here! Yes, it's 7 euros and yes it is worth every single cent. You get to sit at the glittery silver bar, be served your drink in the fancy chocolate pot and sip hot chocolate that is at once smooth and chocolately, but not overwhelming.
The cakes there are also amazing. They even have one with edible glitter! Right inside Printemps, tucked in a corner, Cafe Pouchkine is a little taste of Moscow without leaving Paris!Recommended for:Foodies

Magical and creative pastry treats marrying Russian opulence and French elegence. Fresh and delicious, the pouchkine gold dusted macrons are heavenly. Perfect pairing with champagne, of course.
