Caffe Reggio

Try to imagine Greenwich village around, oh... 1930 or so. Now, imagine stepping inside an Italian cafe to read the morning paper and have a cappuccino. Ok. Back to the present. There are a ton of places around the village that try to pull off this vibe. Some do ok, others not so much. Caffe Reggio is one of the ...

Fantastic Italian food served in a bustling and cheerful environment. This is a great place to go with a group, but it's not a good pick for those who dislike crowds or noise.

This is my favorite pizza place in NYC. Perfectly thin crust, a nice cheese and just the right amount of sauce.

    Blue Hill

    0.12 mi from Caffe Reggio

Had a terrific meal here. Blue Hill sources all their ingredients from local farms, so the ingredients are incredibly fresh. It is set in an old speakeasy, and the atmosphere is cozy, with exposed brick walls. My friend ordered the roasted chicken, cooked off the bone in buttermilk, so that it was more tender than any I had tried before. ...

    Five Guys Burgers & Fries

    0.23 mi from Caffe Reggio

Five Guys is great no matter which city you are in. I get the single burger because the default double patty is too much for me, especially considering the portion of fries they dole out.

    Minetta Tavern

    0.03 mi from Caffe Reggio
    17 reviews

Minetta Tavern may be a top-notch restaurant with lots of great dishes on the menu, but none has been more heavily touted or highly praised than the Black Label Burger, and for $28, it had better be good. The burger starts with prime cuts of steak, dry aged to perfection, ground and formed into 8 ounce patties, tempered, and then ...

Pizza, it's not a complicated dish, so why can't everyone make it like John's Pizzeria? Hot, bubbly, gooey, tomatoey, it balances all the right flavors and textures. It's the pizza I dream about. Now there are a number of good pizza places in the city that are head and shoulders above what you can get outside, but within the princes ...

The other reviews rave about their brunch, so i was disappointed to learn they have a very limited brunch item selection during weekdays. That said, i had the BLT & E (blt with sunny side egg), and it was really great. My server warned me how big a brunch crowd they pull on the weekends, so plan accordingly.

Featured in several movies, this is a restaurant with a beautiful ambience and even more importantly, good food:-) It's also really cool because it's a transformed carriage house (i.e., a garage for carriages from back in the day). It looks nothing like the inside from the outside.

I just finished my meal at Annisa and wanted to make sure to write my thoughts before they escaped me. I arrived there minutes after the place opened without a reservation so was led to a bar seat and ordered the tasting menu naturally. Molly's Cupcakes

    0.11 mi from Caffe Reggio

I am far away from being a dessert person. In fact, if I could end every meal with chips and queso- I would. However, for some reason I felt like having something a little sweet today and did feel like having a heavy dessert from the restaurant I had dinner so settled for a cupcake. Molly's definitely delivered with their ...

Il Mulino is one of the classiest places that ever classed. The service is top notch, the food is incredible, fresh, and perfect down to the last bite. They really go out of their way to make you feel like you might be dining in an elegant spot, hidden away in the alleys of Italy.

Although I can and have made couscous at home - theirs was SO GOOD and I ate most of the dish that was supposed to serve 3 people. The apple mojito was delicious too! At some point, the restaurant switched over to an Arabic dance club. We stayed out until 2:30am and there were people still coming in.
