The central business district, with its stores selling overpriced items, is a hodgepodge of styles that ignore its two greatest assets - the Leonis Adobe and the Sagebrush Cantina. Outside of the central business district are expensive hillside mansions on postage size lots that, for the most part, fail to blend with their environment.

Calabasas feels a lot more genuine than nearby Malibu, and it's near the Malibu Creek State Park where they filmed MASH. If you've seen the show, you know what the area looks like.
It's fine as a pitstop driving up 101.

A more hometown feel than posh Malibu, with beautiful tree-lined streets and the same gorgeous mansions, sprawling properties, and designer label-clad people. It's a great place for star-gazing, shopping, or just driving around ogling at how expensive everything is.
