    Fashion Cafe

    1 review

Super tiny sandwich/salad shop inside the small Park near FIDM. You won't see it on Olympic, the shop will be behind the apartment complex building on the busy street. The hours are weird so I don't get to visit that often. They're usually open during school hours because their main customers are fashion students. You tell them what you want ...

    Panini Cafe Downtown

    1 review

A+ on customer service! Everytime I order food for pick up they are very sweet and attentive. They offer me a seat and a nice cold water hot days at the bar while I wait. They get pretty crowded during brunch. The food is super healthy and delicious. My favorite dish here is the chicken kabob with avocado salad and ...

Blue Stove at Nordstroms - Santa Monica

    1 review

We went to Nordstrom's restaurant thinking it would be the typical Nordstrom's cafe, but instead its Blue Stove. The setting is comfortable and usually not too crowded. Between two people, we finished off four dishes and were pretty full. Between three people, we finished off five and had room for dessert at another place nearby (after walking around the mall). ...

    Rasam's

    1 review

The food here was great, and I was impressed by the number of vegetarian options. My only complaint (and I complain about this often) is that, despite pleading for a "mild" curry, my meal came pretty spicy (this was verified by the non-wimpy eater at my table). The food was still delicious though. In addition to the restaurant, there is ...

    O B Donuts

I love stopping by on the weekends for a bagel sandwich. They have quick service and are so affordable. A family owned business, you really know you're giving back to the community when you eat here. They are so popular that they often sell out by noon or 1 PM but luckily, the lines are never too bad.

    Vegan World

This place has some pretty solid vegan options. They offer a variety of dishes from traditional Asian entrees to burgers and fries. It's a good vegan place to try out if you want a little of everything. Orange chicken- crunchy and tasty Spring rolls- light, crunchy, and refreshing Brown rice- multi grain brown rice (better than boring old regular brown ...

    Urtha Cafe

Great local coffee shop with a nice selection of organic and gluten free food options. Excellent selection of coffee drinks. Much better than a Starbucks.

    Sidestreet Pho

    1 review

Sidestreet Pho is a new restaurant in Alameda (open 6 weeks ago) nestled in a building with a cluster of half a dozen restaurants on Encinal between Park and Oak streets in Alameda. It is managed and owned by the lovely Hanh, who came over from Vietnam in childhood and whose parents came when the country fell to the communists. ...

    Chop Stop

    1 review

Although the employees and their customer service skills are somewhat lacking, the salad options are great, now including kale. I would still stay away from the canned beets, but the majority of the menu features fresh whole foods. The make your own salad options are tempting, but with so many to choose from, it was easier to order off of ...

    Van Hahn Vegetarian

Another great vegetarian take-out spot in Little Saigon. 2 item combos with rice or noodles for $4.50, or $6 for three items. It's a great deal and they don't charge tax, or tax is already included. The 'steam' tables have a wide variety of vegetarian options, including vegetable dishes, tofu dishes, and dishes incorporating the 'fake meats' commonly found in ...

    kreation juicery

    1 review

I have to be on a soft food diet for 2 weeks because I got a tooth implant. I thought it'll be a good opportunity to do this challenge :) It's pretty pricey but I always wanted to try this and my sis got it for me as my early bday gift. The ingredients in the juice are raw, organic ...

    Elmisti Picanteria Arequipena

    1 review

I actually had this restaurant cater part of my first vegetarian wedding reception a few years ago. I have never seen another Peruvian restaurant that has vegetarian options. I was truly amazed and my non-vegetarian guests were impressed and surprised that they were not eating meat. They have great options and are very willing to make vegetarian dishes. And it's ...

    Donerg

    1 review

This restaurant provides quality fast food/casual dining at a very reasonable price and also offers a dinner buffet on Thursdays. The buffet is normally on Thursdays from 6-9:30 ($15.99). I'm not much of a buffet person and I don't usually spend $15 for a buffet when I know I can't eat the main ingredients (all the meats, you can read ...

I really like their fresh juices, the smoothies are much fresher than jamba juice (in my opinion)! You may customize as you wish!

    Viyanna's Mediterranean Cuisine

    1 review

Really cute little hole in the wall with delicious falafel and kabobs. The ladies working there were extremely friendly. Recommended if your are in the neighborhood. It's not extremely cheap (though not expensive by any means), but Saratoga is hardly a place to go for a bargain.

Royal Cup Cafe & Coffee Shop

    1 review

Loving this cafe in Long Beach! Very low key and a lot of space to lounge with friends or study or read a book. Their food is amazing and I would totally come back during my lunch break. I got the Mango chutney chicken salad and the size was big and topped with a lot of amazing deliciousness (chicken, bbq ...

    Crazy Bowls & Wraps

    1 review

A great alternative to the typical fast-food, lunch options. You can buy one of the menu items or build your own bowl or wrap. I love their brown rice and enjoy the veggies, both cooked perfectly. The meat options are also fresh and taste quality. The best part of CBW is the consistency of their flavors and the assortment of ...
