    LA Quinta Resort & Club

    38 reviews

Loved my stay here in one of the casitas. These private little houses are fantastic. Came with a fireplace which was a really nice touch. The facilities and grounds are lovely.

    El Farolito

    29 reviews

This is a quinessential San Francisco burrito, and a must try for everyone. However bring an serious hunger and do not plan on being in the mood for anything too active afterwards. Especially good at 2am after a rough night out at the bars.

    Nopalito

    27 reviews

Napolito is a gem. Small, vibrant, and well-designed, it has all the charm of a neighborhood gathering spot, with a repertoire of dishes that live up to expectations even after repeat visits. Napolito cooks traditional, regional cuisine from Mexico. Though the names of many dishes sound familiar, let go of your preconceived notions. This is something above and beyond the ...

    La Super-Rica Taqueria

    27 reviews

La Super-Rica has tremendous Mexican food. I particularly enjoy the tamales paired with an agua fresca or a Tecate beer. There are so many great bites here, so if you’re in Santa Barbara, you should stop by for an incredible meal.

Taco tuesday is one of my favorite holidays and Nick's is a great place to celebrate. They have a really good special until 10pm and its always packed with a good crowd. Their margs and quesadillas are great!

    La Taqueria

    24 reviews

I love this place. Locoted in the heart of San Francisco's Latin Quarter, the Mission District. Simply the best chicken burrito in the city. Very simple like in Mexico. There should not be lettuce or rice in a burrito or taco. Expect long lines but they go fast. The salsa verde is pure perfection and they add avocado for an ...

    Tacolicious

    22 reviews

I really like tacolicious! I usually get 4 tacos (16$) and you can pick from around 10 different kinds and mix and match. I love the pulled pork and fish. They also offer a pretty solid taco tuesday menu. Great margs!

    Tropisueño

    25 reviews

Fun and funky taqueria with a nice range of options and the requisite salsa bar. We tried the shrimp tacos and chili rellenos both were tasty. They were out of tamales and mole sauce that day. Many of the dishes are pre-made and in a serving area so you watch as they put your plate together. We were there at ...

    La Puerta

    22 reviews

La Puerta aka the best bar downtown. This Mexican bar/restaurant has some of the best carne Asada fries and good quality food. The staff is also 100%, they have a dj on Sundays making it the ultimate Sunday Funday place. It can be as crazy as you want though, pretty sure we were the only ones dancing on the tables ...

    Pancho Villa Taqueria

    18 reviews

Not the cheapest taqueria in the Mission but Pancho Villa Taqueria is definitely the most popular. If you can avoid the crowds, get a burrito or taco here. They prepare their meats in a delectable way.

Cha Cha Cha - Upper Haight

    20 reviews

I have to remember not go to here on a popular night. I've been here a few times, but I think it was the Haight location. It's been way too long to remember. Anyway, the food has been consistently good and I tend to try something new each time. Our spread of jerk chicken, fried calamari, cajun shrimp and sauteed ...

    Cafe Del Sol

    22 reviews

My favorite Mexican place. The shrimp burrito is addictive. This is not a typical taqueria. If you are looking for the authentic, cheap taqueria experience head to Redwood City. Cafe del Sol is a sit down place with table service and table cloths. Its more expensive then a standard taqueria, but their presentation is great and everything is delicious.

    Reposado Restaurant

    19 reviews

Guacamole is delicious. Even the chips! Got to have margarita when you come here. I tried the guava! Delish! But definitely gave me a buzz. The food was normal. Nothing special.

    Roberto's Mexican Cafe

    17 reviews

Roberto's is surprisingly good Mexican food given that it's in such a tourist town. My favorite is the plate of carnitas, but everything here is good. As with any popular Mammoth restaurant, this place gets packed on weekend evenings. At least there is a bar upstairs where you can wait. The margaritas are good too.

Love love love titos tacos! I usually get two tacos with cheese, the red salsa and the newly added jalapeño salsa. It's so yummy! They're burritos are pretty good too especially the meat, beans, and cheese one!

    Casa Guadalajara

    14 reviews

Yes, this place is kitschy, the food is so-so and it is usually filled to the brim with tourists; however, because of the outdoor seating and giant margaritas, I tend to overlook these points. My friend's parents used to take us there on annual trips to San Diego. I have fond memories of pleasant evenings spent enjoying the mild SoCal ...

    Taqueria Cancun

    16 reviews

One of the best and most authentic taquerias in San Francisco. Not fancy, but they make some of the best burritos I have ever had. I love the carnitas burrito and the shrimp burrito with guacamole. Come hungry - they are big! It's located in a kind of dodgy feeling part of the mission.
