    Slanted Door

Great setting in the Ferry Building overlooking the Bay Bridge. Big restaurant - nice to go with a group of people. Food was delicious - especially the green Papaya Salad! You need to make reservation 1 month ahead to get a table.

    Brodard Restaurant

    34 reviews

Came here around 1:30 ish on saturday with my coworker. There was still a crowd of people waiting to be seated o___O My coworker realized that it's better to wait inside than out because the host never came out to call out the next person on the list. We shared the popular pork spring they're huge! It was enough ...

Tamarine is a great restaurant. The clay pot cod and basil tofu are both superb. If the dining room is crowded, you should eat at the bar - very fun and laid back setting.

    Xanh Restaurant

    24 reviews

Modernized vietnamese food. Nice setting, good alcohol selection, mediocre food. The garlic noodle tastes like straight butter and every dish lacked flavor. For lunch, its buffet style. Dinner is a lot better. Shaken beef and tuna tartare (served on dry ice) is a must here.

    PPQ Dungeness Island

Amazing garlic crab and noodles! Make sure to get the grilled shrimp that you can wrap in rice paper. Better than Crustacean and Thanh Long!

    Le Colonial

    21 reviews

As a big fan of colonial-era decor, Le Colonial really spoke to me. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and I can imagine this restaurant being a great place for a date. Prices, however, are a bit high, though I suppose that should be expected in an environment as elegant as this. The food and drinks were both tasty, though I ...

    Saigon Sandwiches

One of my favorite places to come for a banh mi sandwich made properly and affordable! The old ladies here work fast during the busy lunch hour and the line goes out the door so come early before 11am on weekdays!

    Turtle Tower Restaurant

I like the sauteed beef pho. The chicken pho is essentially chicken noodle soup and is also very good. Get a side of imperial roll and you're good to go.

    Golden Deli

    11 reviews

If you have ever been here, or even been to the same plaza as this place, you'd know that this place is always packed. Always a line when its peak hours during lunch or dinner. Well, theres a reason for that. This is one of those holes in the wall places. From the outside it doesnt look like much. Its ...

    Vung Tau Restaurant

    9 reviews

Fish clay pot is amongst one of their most popular dishes! I see why because its delicious! They are really trying to revamp with is place! Gave it a modern twist and added a bar! They have a really cute cocktail menu. The Bo luc lac aka shaking beef could be more flavorful and tender. Service is pretty good. Good ...

    Nong la

    9 reviews

When I first saw this restaurant on Sawtelle I didn't think it would be too good since it looked a little foofy compared to most hole in the wall pho joints. It has a contemporary feel with quality china, utentsils, and glasses. Don't be fooled though. The portion of pho is huge, flavorful, and it comes out piping hot. The ...

    OB Noodle House

    9 reviews

The only thing people will complain about is: the wait. Come to the infamous OB Noodle house for the inexpensive Pho and noodle options. Figure to spend about $30 for 2 and if you come on a Friday or Saturday expect to wait awhile for a table or even a spot at the bar

My go-to place for Pho. Cheap and good and the service is quick. That's all I need from my pho place and Pho So 1 delivers.

    Quan Hy Restaurant

Central Vietnam food, from Hue area. This is probably the nicest decor restaurant in Little Saigon, with hardwood floor, table and chairs; hanging drop 12v spotlights with trendy bulb shades, bamboo theme, and 2 huge salt water fish tanks in the middle of the room with yellow and blue Tangs. They serve a variety of dishes. Of course, Bun Bo ...

    Pho 79

    8 reviews

You get both a good amount of noodles as well as beef here. The beef is tender and delicious and the broth flavorful. I like how they offer 3 different sizes of pho to satisfy everyone’s appetite. There can be a wait, but turnover is usually fairly quick. There is a separate parking lot behind the restaurant, which fills up ...

    Red Medicine

    10 reviews

This is a Vietnamese fusion restaurant. The food and desserts were really delicious and creative. Presentation was also very beautiful. Desserts came in a fishbowl and had flowers in it. It not only looked good but tasted just as good. I believe it also opens till pretty late. It was a little pricey, but everything in Beverly Hills is so ...

    Equator Cafe

Thirsty anyone? I feel like I would recommend people to come here for their everyday happy hour. Everyday they have a special. It's pretty dimmed and romantic at night time. Also, Equator provides weekend brunch. Boyfriend and I experienced it and they had lychee mimosas, peach, and regular. I preferred the lychee more than all. There's a big parking garage ...

    Pho Kim Long

    9 reviews

when you walk in, you've walked into a crowded restaurant. Tables fill the room with no real waiting space out front. We arrived around 7:15, peak dinner time but we were quickly seated around back because our friends had gotten a table a few minutes before we got there. They were quite quick to ask us for our order, but ...

I've lived in the Castro for about 4 years now. I walk up and down 18th street several times per week. I've actually even remarked on my desire to try "that Vietnamese place" on several occasions. Well, after 4 years of waiting, the day finally arrived last week when I was able to recall this totally unassuming location when a ...

    Thanh Long

Great crab and garlic noodles from another restaurant in the An Family line of restaurants! This one is in a very inconvenient location (it's so far in the outer sunset it almost isn't SF anymore) but the food does not disappoint. I also loved the lychee martini -- definitely sweeter, so if you don't like sweet drinks, try something else. ...
