Just a really, really cool place. They occasionally (probably once a year) have a free day. Lines were pretty long but definitely worth it. Otherwise tickets aren't too expensive - great place to entertain kids for the day. Surprisingly good food in the cafeteria, you can literally spend the whole day there!

Best brunch in San Francisco - hands down. It's a bit of a wait - maybe 30 - 40 mins on the weekend but well worth it. Highly recommend trying the Lemon Ricotta pancakes and Eggs Benedict (eggs florentine especially!)

So I went to spend a weekend with some friends in SF. When I get there I am told we are going to have wings for dinner and that they are to die for. If you read anyone else's review, yeah you will see that too. So we show up at this literal itty bitty Chinese joint in the sunset ...

Who would have thought that Burmese fusion would be so popular. The place was packed, as was its sister restaurant - B Star - down the block. The lamb and pork pumpkin curries were all good and the tea tree salad delicious, but the true standout was the vegetarian samusa soup.

I have to remember not go to here on a popular night. I've been here a few times, but I think it was the Haight location. It's been way too long to remember. Anyway, the food has been consistently good and I tend to try something new each time. Our spread of jerk chicken, fried calamari, cajun shrimp and sauteed ...

Park Chow is the go-to spot for, well, anyone. Located directly across from Golden Gate Park, Park Chow is a fantastic spot for a bite to eat, a meet up with friends, or even for people watching. With ample seating inside (it looks deceptively small from the street), small and large parties alike are easily accommodated. Their fare is varied ...

Personally found it a little overrated compared to the raving reviews. Food was good. The corn soup was choice of appetizer. (Can be made vegetarian). Their fish of the day was served with pesto risotto as an appetizer that we had the chef concert as an entree for some of the vegetarians in our party. They liked that better than ...

The Alembic is the Haight's probably most respected bar/gastro-pub. The drinks are all about $11. Bartenders here are wonderful and work up their mixologista skills. If you want, you can also request special drinks and the bartenders will whip up something great for you! They also have small, tapas-type dishes - great for sharing! But really, go here for the ...

Ever look into one of those books filled with patron-provided writing? Blue Danube has those. Once blank, they are readily available for your thoughts to fill their pages. And, man, diving into the psyches of coffeehouse minds is an experience in and of itself. Y'all are crazy, serious. I recently spent the whole day with a friend here, a testament ...

Best scones in SF! I go here at least once a month, grab scones, then stroll to a coffeehouse nearby for breakfast. Perfection on a weekend. Try the corn cherry scone, or the "scone of the day" which usually includes seasonal fruits.

Although everything here looks amazing, they are known for their Princess Cake, which is that spring green dome you'll see in the display case. It's a sponge cake with raspberry filling and marzipan, and it's just plain delicious. I've had some other princess cakes before and this one is much, much better. One of the best bakeries in the city!

If crepes had some type of holy grail, this just might be it. The joint is located inside a ridiculously cool mini mart. Lucky #21 was my crepe of choice. In addition to its combo of Nutella and bananas, I also added strawberries and mango ice cream. All orders are served wrapped, which is good because plating them would actually ...
