Very busy shopping street. Pedestrian only but a very high volume of people. The crowds were fairly easy to navigate and the shops seemed endless. A very diverse variety of shops. Ranged from small local shops to high-end designer stores. Overall great experience.

Calle Florida is Buenos Aires' most famous pedestrian walkway and thoroughfare. You'll find the Galerias Pacifico Mall, restaurants, and other retail outlets. I enjoyed walking back and forth on the Calle Florida. You get a chance to see real life Portenos engaged in living their lives.

Calle Florida in Buenos Aires is like Las Ramblas in Barcelona: they are both pedestrian walkways that can be very touristy and are line with shops, eateries, interesting street performers, and a quintessential touristic experience.
