CAMP is basically a shopping plaza, but it feels way cooler because thought was put into the overall design and organization of all the stores and restaurants. It feels very modern and has a trendy, hipster edge to it.

Open faced Spinach salad Reuben omelet Tried those 3 and were delicious. Space is small so if you have a large group be prepared to wait. They have nice outdoor seating for waiting though.

The best flan I've had in OC! It was smooth and not too sweet. It was also dense enough so as not to be watery but not too much that it feels heavy.

I really like the ambiance here. Very laidback. I also like its appearance and set up overall. Lots of plants. You can either sit indoors or outdoors. I think it definitely feels nicer to sit outdoors and enjoy the breeze. One of my favorite drinks here is the Lavender Iced Latte. Definitely has a unique taste that I haven't experienced ...

Ikko offers excusitely unique and fresh sushi creations in a comfortable, relaxed environment. I asked fellow Orange County Foodies what was the best sushi in the Irvine/Costa Mesa area, and this place was unanimous, even though there are 3 other 4+ star average sushi places within 5 blocks of here.. I concur! Their $60 Omakase special can be tailored with ...

Wahoo's Fish Taco screams California. It's fresh. It's cheap. It's the best mix of Mexican food and California attitude.

Blackmarket Bakery is open at the Camp! If you've ever tried their Black Widow tarts, you'll know why I love them so. I was really excited to hear that they were opening another location at the Camp in Costa Mesa. I was more than thrilled to fund their Kickstarter project for a fancy oven too. Since I was one of ...

Went for the lounge portion of the night. It is a little bit upscale atmosphere and it had a good diverse group of people. Cocktail drinks we got were about $10.

The best ramen in OC hands down. The miso ramen is what I usually get, but the shio ramen is bomb too. It is in the food court where mitsuwa market is and it may have a long line but it goes quickly. Sometimes the ramen is a little greasy but well worth it. It is so tasty. The broth ...

You are paying for quality beef and meats when you come here. This isn't your $10 dollar all you can eat scraps of beef Korean bbq. This is Japanese bbq with all of its refinements. -Dinner review- Great Vibe with a relaxed hip atmosphere! Happy hour from 5-7pm, possibly every night...most likely Monday-Friday. But they do have late night HH 10pm-closing on Friday and Saturday. (HH includes food and drink) Skip the pizzas, crust is not thin enough, bit more chewy for my taste. Ingredients is fresh, but not my style = 3 stars. Salad ...

I've been coming here for years! Very nostalgic, and you can't go wrong with Santouka Ramen here. It's easier to park in the lot underground than to deal with people on street ground. Don't forget that they mark the sushi boxes down 1/2 hour before they close as well!

This is part of the CAMP in Costa Mesa. Like all the restaurants here you get a post-modern feel when walking in, though this restaurant, unlike Taco Asylum, is more toned down. I had their best pizza dish (ask for it) and it was quite solid and filling. Coming back for sure when I'm in town.

Having heard there was a Vietnamese place at the Camp, I was intrigued. There aren't too many outside the bastion of Little Saigon so I had to try it. My friend and I split a Vietnamese Grilled Pork 12" and ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and a Lychee soda. First of all, I recognize that this place is more of ...

The shabu shabu was yummy and they were nice to give us free Green Tea ice cream because it was our first time at the restaurant. However, I think I got food poisoning after eating there because I was praying to the porcelain god afterwards and it wasn't pretty =( Perhaps some cross-contamination took place?

Next to "Anjin" in Costa Mesa. Very dark, yet simple contemporary decor. There's a lot of TVs for watching sports. Friendly staff. Small place but I don't feel packed like "Anjin" or "Okidoki". I went to HH last Friday with a few friends and tried their tacos out for the first time. Let me say that I wasn't impressed. I tried 3 tacos: duck, pork belly, and ghost chili. All were bland! The pork belly was up first and I liked it the best. I didn't put any hot sauce on the first ...

Love! Love! This Place!! Located at The Lab (antimall) it is a bit tricky to find. The sushi is awesome! I would also recommend the Garlic Mushrooms and the selection of Mojitos offered. Sapporo's for $1.95? Yup! Happy Hour here is unbelievable!! If you like spicy the "Jalapeno Bomber" will satisfy and put a smile on your face!

A whole in a wall kinda sushi restaurant. Nothing really special at all.... They did give me a first experience in getting a bone in my sashimi~ I guess the chef was too busy talking to the other customers rather than paying attention to cutting the fish. The most memorable dishes there are their handrolls. Other than handroll, no other ...
