Campgrounds are scarce on Maui, and this is the only one that's privately run, which means it has better security and amenities that most county-run public campgrounds around the island. Sometimes booked by groups, individuals are welcome when space is available. Reserve ahead for a campsite or simple A-frame cabin. The camp is a short drive south of Lahaina town, for sightseeing, eating out, nightlife and beginner surfing lessons.
