Think of the words that conjure up images of safari - Kilimanjaro? its an ever present backdrop. Maasai? The express purpose of this camp is to help the Maasai survive and the camp protects 280,000 acres for the community to live as they wish. There's just room for 16 guests, and 400 square miles to explore without seeing another tourist - it's just you and the bush.Recommended for:

One of the greenest hotels in the world, Campi ya Kanzi is situated in real African wilderness and works hard to stay in sync with the beautiful habitat. The leaders strive to educate their community on greener practices, and utilize many clever innovations to reduce their impact. For example, the food is cooked solely with charcoal that is made from old coffee husks. Campi ya Kanzi even has 30 game rangers on watch to prevent poaching of the stunning wildlife on the property and surrounds.Recommended for:
