    Maligne Lake Canada

    2 reviews

Pretty lake, photogenic boathouse, lots of wildlife around. Favorite bear haunt in the surrounding forrests shut down a lot of the hikes in the fall unless you have bear spray and 3 other people to run interference. Impressive as the second largest glacier fed lake in the world! Bees swarm in the fall at dusk.

    Johnston Canyon Resort

    9 reviews

The hike is extremely crowded during holidays and summer weekends as the walk is very easy and accommodating for children and families. Definitely head to the upper falls - the higher you go up, the more the crowd thins out and you can enjoy the nature around you even more. A good 4 hour roundtrip is to add the Inkpots ...

    Wide Open

    3 reviews

Cheap. Quite Cheap. A pint for $4.50 on Wednesdays, 13$ Pitchers all night on Fridays. I would recommend coming early unless you don't mind sitting/standing at the bar ; Unlike it's name, Wide Open is quite narrow since it was built in what must have been an alleyway. You can find the daily deal on their website! The Music is ...

    BMB Karaoke

    2 reviews

I went there with a group for friend's birthday and we got one of the private rooms. You have your own Karaoke Station, 3 cozy couches, some great lighting and even a disco ball! The only downside is that no drinking was allowed in the room itself, but there is a bar downstairs. It is also quite affordable, I think ...

    Underground City (RÉSO)

    31 reviews

I love the idea of underground shops, restaurants and passageways, especially since we visited in the dead of winter and the city would have been nearly impossible if confined to the above ground streets. There is something unexpected around every corner of the system. Well worth taking the time to explore.

    60 reviews

Sure it's a big tourist area, but for good reason: cobblestone streets, charming street lamps, lots of coffee shops and restaurants and boutiques and bars. Any visit to Vancouver should include a stop in Gastown, whether it's a tour of historical sites like the steam clock or simply an evening of drinking beer and playing pool in one of the ...

    Maligne Canyon

    4 reviews

During my lat trip trip to Jasper, I was here in the winter and took the gorgeous hike through Maligne Canyon. The name comes from the French word for malignant or wicked. It is theorized that an early French voyageur created this name in reference to the current of the river near its confluence with the Athabasca. Maybe it was ...
