The perfect rustic European feeling in Old Montreal. It is a popular tourist spot packed with restaurants of great quality and many shops along the roads. It is also right next to the Old Port, a great place to take a stroll and admire the St. Lawrence.

Amazing experience, and the best way to see the golden horseshoe! We skipped the edge walk, but the observation deck and glass floor had my stomach in my throat the entire time. Completely surreal, especially when a plane flies by below your eye level! (there is an airport on the island just in front of the tower, so the planes ...

This is my favourite section of Toronto. It's been revamped from its industrial past. You can amble around the historic district with out worrying about cars or traffic. Enjoy the many different shops offering varied and different products. The area does not allow franchises, so enjoy the quality!

ok first: you have to climb up the hill. it's not a big deal, but I went there in winter, so everything was full of snow and slippery. But the hike is really worth it when you're up there. You'll have the best view over the city!

Gorgeous, historic church that can't be missed on your visit to Montreal! If the stunning architecture doesn't take your breath away, the elegant interior will. Great light show at night that tells the history of this place.

    Underground City (RÉSO)

800 de La Gauchetière Street West, Montreal, QC H5A Canada

I love the idea of underground shops, restaurants and passageways, especially since we visited in the dead of winter and the city would have been nearly impossible if confined to the above ground streets. There is something unexpected around every corner of the system. Well worth taking the time to explore.

Wow! You can spend a whole day in here. One of the best museums in Canada. Lots of history about BC, the First Nations, and ecological time. Climate change is a re-occurring theme. Children just love it. What with an IMAX theatre and historic buildings outside, it is not a wasted day. Probably best to visit when the weather is ...

ByWard Market is the tourist trap hangout spot in Ottawa. This place has tens of restaurants, shopping, and outdoor things to buy, from maple syrup to clothing and everything in between. If the rest of Ottawa is fairly dead, this area is somewhat alive. Check it out.

The Times Square of Toronto! Very crowded but great shopping, although I don't think I could spend more than an hour or so here. See it just to say you did, then move on to some of the more interesting spots in the city.
