    Banff National Park

I love Banff! There is so much to do there ie. hike, swim, canoe, kayak, relax, etc. I cannot wait to go back! In the summertime, the temperatures get very low. Be sure to bring a sweatshirt, jacket and pants year round!

Gorgeous place with cobblestone streets throughout as well as a few alleys of artists and their works (a few even working as they are there). There are often fun street performers to see as well.

If you ever find yourself in Vancouver, I highly recommend taking BC ferries for a day trip - somewhere, anywhere. Pick one of their destinations and go. The views from BC ferries on a sunny day are unbelievably beautiful.

Unfortunately the stadium doesn't seem to be put to its best use anymore, but the tour is nice and the exhibits are interesting. Other than that, not much to do here.

    The Seawall

The Seawall is really a must-see and must-walk for a trip to Vancouver. It really is one of the most impressive piece of landmark structures I've ever encountered. Beautifully designed, the seawall is a high rise stone wall constructed around the perimeter of Stanley Park and extends into surrounding areas where land meets the Pacific ocean. The separate pedestrian and ...

If you're into government (as an academic pursuit) or really cool architecture, this is a great place to enjoy both in Ottowa. The Canadian system of government has always fascinated me (as an American), so it was actually really neat to wander around this square and soak up the current political climate, as well as the awesome history of this ...

Nice bridge. Can be viewed from Prospect Point of from the beach below. Looks really nice at night when it is lit up. Wanted to take pictures of the bridge but couldn't manage it with lack of time. I heard from a tour guide that it is the same size as the Golden Gate in SF which seemed surprising to ...
