This is a noticeable structure near the center of Vancouver. The building's exterior is covered by fabric roofs resembling sails. It is also the main cruise ship terminal for the region, where most of Vancouver's famous cruises to Alaska originate. When the ships are in port it is fun to view them.Recommended for:

Nice place to walk around the see the bay. There always seem to be cruise ships docked here during the summers - we saw two of them while we were there.
The best though was a new experience they have started called "Fly over Canada". This is a 4D experience which simulates flying from the east coast to the west coast of Canada in a real 4D experience. You experience, the sights, sounds, feel the breeze and the mist and also smell the smells of Canada. It is $20 per person but worth every penny. You see the sights of Gros Morne going to Halifax and then the cottage country in North Ontario, city sights of Toronto, the praries, the rockies and finally land in Vancouver. Absolutely must do.
This is also where a lot of hop-on hop-off city buses take off.

It is a tourist attraction of Vancouver. The area is filled with tourists and it is a great place to get tourist information of places around Vancouver. I was here during Canada Day as well and it was great to see how large the area is and all the exhibits that were displaying the proudness of Canada.
