Immediately I am met by a fresh, clean smell. I really appreciate this. From the quaint, yet comfortable lobby I am met by a sweet receptionist, professional and patient with guests wanting directions. There’s a mini convenience store for the guests in the lobby, and also there are books to check out if you feel like reading, but not buying, a book. A personal touch is the bulletin board in the lobby with uplifting quotes about appreciating the day, while also letting guests know the temperature and humidity for that day. This is an extended stay, so there are kitchens in the rooms. The layout of the rooms are really great, with an enormous desk for working, sitting area, and separate bedroom. There’s an American restaurant and bar next door called Kay’s, 30-second walk. There is a free shuttle for a 5-mile radius, but not to DFW airport, but yes to Dallas Love Field airport.Recommended for:

The birdhouse out front immediately told me this hotel would be charming and quaint. And that it was. The staff was more than accommodating. In fact, the manager and director of sales offered to help me personally. This hotel offers daily as well as weekly rates and perfect for an extended stay. I liked that if I wanted to cook all my meals in the room I could. They supply you with a full stock of plates and cookware in the kitchen and I appreciated the microwaveable popcorn as a nice snack upon arrival. There’s a huge laundry room on the premises but you’ll have to walk next door for the nearest restaurant. So if cooking’s not your things, word has it the food there is really tasty.Recommended for:
