As Seminyak gets more crowded, more and more villas and hotels are opening up in Canggu. This is a good option to stay. It is less developed so you can probably find a villa which has both beach access and padi field views (best of both worlds)Recommended for:

The beaches around this area is not so great (and may not be swimmable due to strong current) but the rice field view was great. This is also another area in Bali that you can explore and see how the locals live, and if you are lucky, you got to see one of those religious ceremonies.

You need to know, in addition famous for its scenic rice fields were nice, Canggu also has beautiful beaches and along the way Canggu to Tanah Lot, there are many culinary Babi Guling (pork roll), Lawar Kuir (a type of duck that is then processed with chopped vegetables) and local cakes named Klepon, you should try it.

Not much here - which makes it perfect. A great place to hangout for Sundowners is the Beach House @ Echo Beach. Reasonable prices away from the scene in Bali. For Maximum value - gather a few friends and rent a villa nearby. Surfers have loved the place for years, it's easy to see why.
