One of the global capitals for international jet set trash, but don't let that put you off visiting a city with many other charms - you just may choose to get the best out of it when the platinum blondes and holidaying oligarchs are elsewhere. For all the bling of Cannes, there's also a charming underbelly to the city - for me this is Le Suquet, the old town, with its winding cobbled streets and informal places to eat. The palace hotels along La Croisette are always worth a visit too. Depending on your sensibility, you'll be appalled, amused or both.

Cannes has two claims to fame. First and most obviously, the Cannes Film Festival. However, for the rest of the year the main reason to drop in on Cannes is the white sand beaches. Many other beaches on the Riviera are composed of pebbles or, like Nice, big rocks that will hurt your feet.

If you are lucky enough to attend the film festival it is an experience you will never forget.
La Croisette is something to be experienced but be prepared to spend some serious cash during this period. You will also need to book restaurants well in advance or go hungry.

Sta reci Kanu..divan,divan grad. Odsela sam bila u starom delu Kana koji je zaista prelep. Vrlo skup grad, ali vredi potrositi svaku paru kako biste otisli i videli Azurnu obalu i to plavetnilo mora!
